These contact sensors are fairly simple to install around the home on entry points such as doors, windows and garage doors. One point I would raise is that with it being an abnormal shape it can sometimes be difficult to fit on doors with less padding around the edging or on PVC doors. However, they don't have to be directly touching each other to make a connection. Take note that the EF range does not support the new Yale Sync systems and are for the Smart/Easy Fit ranges only.

We ordered these to extend our system to cover some windows that overlook a flat roof upstairs. Our local neighbourhood news is that burglars have been breaking into properties with flat roof extensions because they quite often do not have cover upstairs and they then only steal from upstairs without triggering alarm systems downstairs. We installed eight of these in about an hour and then linked into system with great ease. We are very pleased that our house is even safer now than it was before. Great system.

Perfect genuine alarm door / window contact. Exactly as described

Very easy to install and fit against the door to allow the alarm to work. The batteries are very easy to change with small screws to come undone allowing the top to come off without it being removed from the door. I find it very handy that it allows you to press a button to check whether the battery is still working and not dead.

Bought to go with my Yale alarm kit, works well and warns if the door is open or tampered with.

The battery supplied with this product (CR2032) lasted less than a week before needing replacement! I did not have one so am using a CR2025. If you have affixed the item & need to change the battery, take care when removing the top section as it is held in by one screw and the plastic prongs are pretty feeble by any judgement. Hold the top on whilst you are undoing the screw otherwise the spring inside will throw the top on the floor and you'll need another unit. Poor design I think.

Semplice da installare e materiali di buona qualità. Ne ho acquistati 3 e tutti sono stati riconosciuti al primo utilizzo dalla base Yale. Una vitina rende semplice l'apertura del dispositivo e la sostituzione della batteria. Ha anche dei distanziali per adattarsi a diversi tipi di porte/finestre.
