Does the job admirably
Copes well when degassing resin or rubber moulds - it is silicone so will have a long life before it needs to be replaced. Bonds to silicone adhesives well too. recommended.

Seems to be heat resistant
Seems to be good for car vacuum lines. Is quite beefy but flexible. It has survived an open flame test very well which means it should be able to withstand engine and engine bay temps.
