These arrived vacuum packed and were really thin when first taken out of the package. However, after 24 hours in a warm place, they did puff up a bit, but not to the thickness of similar covers I was replacing due to years of wear and tear. That said, they appear to be well made, with good materials and good stitching. I'm not sure of the relevance of the reflective tape on the hook and loop straps, but it looks okay. I think these will stand up well to a few frosty nights, but I'm not so confident they will effectively protect my outdoor taps from prolonged sub zero temperatures up here in the Scottish Highlands.. To that effect, I will use bubble wrap around the taps before putting on the covers. That should do the job. Happy enough with the purchase. Thicker covers would have got five stars.

Arrived quickly. It was shrink-wrapped so it expanded nicely on opening. It is perfect for my outdoor tap with plenty of Velcro to ensure a snug fit. I would definitely recommend this. It is a good size, perfect fit for a standard outdoor tap.

I lost my last tap cover (one of those ones that you fold in half and wrap over the tap, leaving some parts still exposed to the elements). So needing to get a new one I went for this design, and it’s great. It fully covers my tap, all the way up to the wall, is quick and£ easy to secure in place and actually looks pretty decent. It was quite thick so I’m sure it will protect to the really cold temperatures we are expecting. Arrived quickly too.

These are durable well insulated covers that fit very easily over most taps and are secured by Velcro straps. They are extremely easy to remove if you want to use the tap. If your tap has any exposed pipework, you would be well advised to use further insulation material. The exterior is made of waterproof materials so the insulation will not become damp. I would advise making sure your tap is completely dry and not dripping before you use these covers as any moisture will be sealed inside and will simply cause your tap to freeze.

Very pleased this works, easy to fit, can be removed with one hand. Keeps the frost off the outside tap and made from good quality waterproof material.

Our outside tap froze even covered with this so will not recommend.
