Having used a range of sketchbooks over the years, some of which never get much beyond the first couple of pages, this is the best I've had for carrying around and general use. Smooth paper, perfect for the super fine ballpoint I like to use but thick enough to take light watercolor washes if required. All the pages open flat, and it's well made too, it feels like it will survive bumping around in a bag. I used moleskine before..lovely but expensive and you feel like you have to be perfect using them. With this pad I don't mind doing daft things and wasting paper, or gluing things in. It's a really lovely little book, and the square 12x12 size is a refreshing change too. I will be getting more!

Good quality item. Decent quality paper, can use a variety of media on the paper such as alcohol markers and a light wash of watercolour. Paper is nice and smooth. Fits in my back pocket (just) so I carry it everywhere with me.

Durable and awesome sketchbook! Pages can hold light watercolor or marker, and strap helps press warped pages. I have even applied gesso to every 6th page to do acrylic paintings, and the durability supports it! An awesome book! Strong cover! Durable binding and pages. And best of all, small enough to carry everywhere.
