Kärcher 20 m Pipe and Guttering Cleaning Kit, Pressure Washer Accessory

Never knew these existed until I was searching for a solution to unblock the waste pipe between the kitchen sink/dishwasher and the outside inspection hole; about 8 meter run. This worked out cheaper than a 15m hose plus it came with the gutter attachment. No brainer really but I thought the gutter thing would be a gimmick and any way probably wouldnt fit my Greek guttering. With my K2 pressure washer (the baby of the range) I managed to clear a solid block of hard lard type material from the middle of the pipe and get it all flowing sweet again so paid for itself right there! Thought I'd give the gutters a go as they get jammed solid with the needles from the over-hanging Pine trees. It's so long since I last tried to clear what I can reach they were like window boxes ready for planting. This was always going to be a gamble because of the aluminium gutter's decorative profile and the fact there are supporting ribs across the top that the shuttle needs to pass under. I could just lever the shuttle in at one end and slowly worked it along the gutters. To my amazment it worked and I only had to restep the ladder and clear any blockages that got pushed ahead and jammed under one or two of the support ribs. With the needles, sludge and rubble blasted out, the shuttle easily passed back and forth and for the first time ever I have clear gutters. Bit of advice. You should seriously consider face protection or at least eye protection and although possible on your own it is much easier with two people. I was suprised and impressed with this cleaning kit; it definitely beats working along the gutter inch by inch with a stick and a brush. From now on I should be able to do the whole lot from two easily reached access points.

The pipe cleaning tool is very effective and easy to use; used twice so far. It takes some time to set up, especially rolling it out but it's worth the effort and very quickly cleaned my waste pipes. I watched a YouTube video before using it which gave 2 handy tips (1) prepare a bucket of diluted bleach before you do any work so that it is ready to clean all your tools and gloves when you finish and (2) tape the trigger gun and use the on off switch on your Karcher for power so that you have both hands available to feed the pipe cleaner into the pipe. The gutter tool is not very effective. It barely fits my gutters, sends mess all over the place and is more hassle than cleaning it by hand and then clearing the pipe with the main pipe cleaner. That said, I've used the 'sieve' to block the down pipe when hand clearing the gutters which avoids any debris going down the pipe; so that accessory is still useful. One star deducted due to the gutter accessory. Also, I think the design of the jets could be improved either by having a forward facing jet, as this might more directly clear a blockage, or by mounting it on a swivelling head so that the jets would spin and better clean all sides of the pipe.

Arrived 3/4 of an hour ago… drain cleared👏 Took longer to get the pressure washer set up than it took to clear the pipe. Very good. Saved me £500 I would estimate. Yes the hose is a bit of a pain but what do people expect.. it has to be rigid enough to take the pressure and flexible enough to bend. The plastic clamp thing is useless for drain clearing.. might be good for gutters.. don’t know yet.

Fantastic, recently had some issues with our drains blocking, causing the gulley's to back up with waste, for the price of a call out, i decided to take a punt with this, and pleased to say this has worked a treat. Initially checking the main shared chamber was clear, it was obvious the blockage was on our property, attempts to use 9m rods were unsuccessful due to how far down the blockage was. In came the pressure washer attachment, with the use of a 32mm x 2m pipe to feed down into the chamber & the K4 compact, i was able to successfully get the line into our junction and started feeding the line down the pipe allowing it to pull with the jets pushing back. After a few meters i encountered some resistance, a little push and pull motion and the line started to move again, a a minute or so later the most disgusting smell emerged from the chamber, followed by a stream of vile muck which came barrelling out, i kept working the line back and forth until i reached the rear of the property and slowly removed the line, at which point the water was running clear. No damage to the line so the durability is good, much like that of the pressure washer hose itself, not much weight to the item, can be a little awkward to use whilst trying to keep the pressure washer firing, i opted for the 20m to give myself more than enough length for the job, and for others to borrow in future if required. Overall very happy with the purchase, and happier knowing that i've been able to do it myself.

Saves an absolute King's ransom on the costs of drain cleaning extortionists. Even when you factor in the cost of a pressure sprayer. First use of this was to help out a woman who had just purchased a new house in a development. She had been battling with the builders to have the problem of a blocked drain rectified for nearly a year when I intervened. An hour and the effluent was flowing away faster than it had been since she took possession. She thanked me profusely and then immediately used her cell to buy one of these kits and a pressure washer. I find this much easier to use than the chimney sweeping rods I had used for decades.. Use of the gutter attachment results in less ladder work. Highly recommended

Done a good job of clearing the drains. Left the hose uncurled for an hour or so to remove the coiling. Haven't tried the gutter cleaning yet

Wir haben das Set von Kärcher angeschafft um ein verstopftes Abflussrohr zu reinigen. Der Schlauch ohne Dachrinnen-Kit hätte bei geringerer Länge einen ähnlichen Preis gehabt, also wurde das Set angeschafft. Die Verarbeitung ist wie gewohnt von Kärcher hochwertig und funktionell. Das Rohrreinigungsset passte perfekt an unseren alten Hochdruckreiniger. Unter Beachtung der Sicherheitshinweise haben wir das KG-Rohr von der Verstopfung befreit. Beim Einsatz sollten nach Möglichkeit zwei Personen anfassen. 20m Schlauch lassen sich so deutlich besser handhaben. Beim Einsatz zieht sich der Schlauch aber fast von allein ins Rohr. Zusätzlich sollte man von der Ablaufseite ansetzen. Bei uns war die Verstopfung ca. 15m tief im Rohr und recht hartnäckig. Sie ließ sich nur nach einigen Anläufen entfernen. Wenn man da von der Zulaufseite rangeht, ist schnell das Rohr gefüllt und läuft im Arbeitsbereich über. Der Rohrreinigungsschlauch lässt sich auch im ca. 8m hohen Dachrinnen-Fallrohr gut hochschieben. An der Stelle begrenzen aber enge Winkel am Dachrinneneinlauf möglicherweise die komplette Reinigung. Das Zubehör zum Reinigen der Rinnen am Haus funktioniert ebenfalls gut. Wir können das Set sehr empfehlen. Es hat uns einen Handwerkereinsatz gespart der sicher mehr gekostet hätte. Die Verwendung ist einfach und sicher. Qualität und Preis passen gut.
