Great light for nano tanks

A really good light in a budget. I am using it with my Neo Helios xp900. as my tank is a 110cm i had dark spots at the corners. So the rotala h'ra was not getting enough light to turn red. I was looking for a budget light and then I ran into this mini, nano aquarium planted light. Pros 1. Good spectrum 2. Greens plants pops good ( xp series have more blues so greens look dull) 3. Red colours get deep with the spectrum. 4. Good for a 1-1.25 feet planted aquarium. Cons. Heats up toomuch. So a big no for planted aquarium with a lid.

This is great light for a Small/Nano planted aquarium period. Some people complained that this light is expensive, keep in mind that aquascaping/planted aquarium is not a cheap hobby, it is infact 2nd most expensive aquarium hobby only next to saltwater/marine aquarium. That being said the build quality and type of LEDs used are excellent, these LEDs are not some fake RBGs, these are the LEDs used in expensive grow lights, they seem white but reflects RBG which is awesome. Pleasantly surprised how good this small light is for my desktop Nano tank. Price is actually less that what it should be for its build quality, even the cord and switch are high quality. Great job guys for not compromising on quality.

Super light my red plants are popping out, I didn't knew this was this good better than my 1500 rs sobo light

Packaging was not that great.Only the light inside its original box wrapped with bubble-wrap; that's it. The brightness is not enough; it may get perfect for nano tank(1ft max). Bluepet clip on series works better than this brand; I'm 101% sure of it and also they come cheaper in comparison to neo helios.I just received the light 1hr ago and used it.The light is now warming up a bit; the body of the light is hot(it's not normal). For the price ; it's not worth.I will use as a add on light with my BR60 for a 2.5feet tank

It’s an average product. It’s kinda okay for nano tanks with low to medium light demanding plants. My nano tanks is just doing good, happy and pearling. That being said, I have 2 more focus lights hanging on top 😆. Please don’t pay attention to the Monte Carlo in the foreground 🤫, it’s in the transition phase. Red plants really need be close to the surface with this light to get some red colouration. Overall, if you have a nano tanks with some crips, anubias, bucephalandras, vallisnerias etc low to medium light demanding plants it will do just fine. But if you have a hitech planted aquarium the this might solve your problem to illuminate some darker spots. Other than that it’s can’t be your primary source of light.
