HIKVISION DS-1280ZJ-DM21 JUNCTION BOX WATERPROOF WALL MOUNT BRACKET FOR CCTV SECURITY DOME CAMERAS

This bracket is great, and allows space to put away a good extra 2 metres of cable (just in case I decide I need it in future!). The other benefit is that it makes life a lot easier should I decent to change camera in future.So the rear is foam backed. You get 4 wall plugs and screws - I drilled 4 holes using the template sticker provided. Note it needs a 5.5mm drill bill. However I used a 6mm and still found the wall plugs provided were too big for the hole. Using an 8mm was too big. So I ended up wiggling most of the holes to make it big enough. I also used my own 6mm wall plug for one of the holes and that worked too.You also get 4 threaded screws for attaching the hikvision camera to it - you need these since the screws provided as standard with the HikVision camera is only for going into the wall, not this bracket!I decided, instead of having the wire run in via the side, instead to swap the middle plug and cover the side hole instead and run the wire through the centre, with the wire pinched between the back of bracket and the wall. This worked just fine and looked neater since there was no side protrustion and no visiable wires.Overall I'm extremely happy with this and glad I spent the extra £20 getting this bracket for my camera installation.

Nothing to dislike as it is just a mounting bracket perfect for hiding an extra bit of cable for the camera just in case you have to remake the cable in the future
