Card that's the Business
My 8Gb memory card will soon be full in my BB Bold, and I want to store a whole load more of music in it. I bought this card at the ridiculous bargain price offered on Amazon with Prime delivery and am completely delighted with it. I bought a couple of micro SHDC card readers (only because I couldn't choose which one I wanted) and used them for data transfer. They worked fantastically well -see my reviews at USB2.0 MICRO-SD / M2 MEMORY CARD READER - SDHC UP TO 32GB (Compatible With Windows 7) by Serena and at High Speed All-in-1 USB Card Reader for all Digital Memory Cards -also at ridiculously low prices. The card itself does all that the blurb on Amazon says it should, and I am convinced that it is actually quicker than my old 8Gb card. I'm not technical enough to know what class this is and nor do I care -however I can tell you that it works just fine. I now have a vast amount of memory in my BB, all backed up very easily with the card readers to my PC. The packaging was sealed and genuine, and as far as I can tell I have the full memory billed here, and not some fake as others have described. This is my alternative to buying an MP3 player, and I am very happy with it. Thoroughly recommended. AA PS I am still amazed at the development of electronic memory. To think that my first PC in 1993 had a memory of 512 Mb and I thought that was cool! (Windows 3.11 and all that). I wonder what another couple of decades will bring -this card will be tatty old hat by then. But right now, this is a phenomenal resource, and I've got it in my phone.

All appears genuine
I bought this from Amazon directly so as to have less hassle if it turned out to be fake. Gizzmo Heaven have supplied me with three other genuine memory products (tried, tested and still working to perfection) so I was a little wary after reading that others had been supplied fakes by Amazon before. The packaging is very tight and well sealed. There is no "looseness" to it. Opening is best achieved by cutting top off and sliding complete plastic insert up and out. The plastic is one complete piece with a panel that folds downwards from the rear to release the card. Appearance of serial no. and country of origin was reassuringly present on the card. It is Class 4 marked also. My card actually has a raised section at the back rather than an indent as mentioned on the images from other reviewers. Inserting the card into my reader showed the capacity to be 29.7GB. If it had read 32gb or close, I would have known it was fake straight away. If you check your pc hard drives you will see the capacity is not as quoted either. The one true test for any memory product is the H2testw 1.4. It can be easily found various places on the internet and totally free to download, use and keep for future use. Running the test on a 32GB card takes around 2 hours 15 minutes and the results were as follows: Writing 30424 MByte 1.43:57 h 4.88 MByte/s Verifying 30424 MByte 27.38 min 18.3MByte/s Test finished without errors You can now delete the test files*.h2w or verify them again Writing speed : 4.88 MByte/s Reading speed : 18.3 MByte/s H2testw v1.4 A good result and confirms capacity is real. For all those other negative feedbacks you will see very similar patterns amongst them. These are all most likely hacked fakes, low capacity low grade chips hacked to read a higher capacity, whatever capacity the hacker desires. If you want a 500GB flash drive for a fiver, someone is out there ready to supply you. I think the lowest capacity hacked flash drive I have seen so far was using a 128MB chip and reading either 32GB or 64GB in properties. Forget about trying to format a hacked drive. Most of the time they fail to be recognised after several uses. They will let you believe all your files are there but will tell you some other programme is required to open them. Once they have reached their true capacity, any further data is corrupted and originally transferred data becomes useless too. China has a massive industry churning out very authentic looking fakes of every type of electrical good every day. The attention to detail in both packaging and product is amazing. Ebay was, and probably still is, flooded with these fakes and they are creeping in to the Amazon marketplace for fresh victims. As with any product, buyer beware! I have even started reading seller feedback on Amazon now before purchasing anything.

32 gb sandisc micro sd card (with issues)
received very fast, in original authentic packaging. run a full test with h2testw free ware. came back with 31.2gb space usable, which was very unexpected and nice. Speed is quite amazing considering the 4 rating. My problems began with my sandisk 2gb sansa clip player. all was ok with files writing and reading 100%....until. well, with 44 folders it seems the sansa cannot cope with an excess of this amount. I have written 20gb of files to it but as long as there are under 44 folders it works, after that it writes, but is unreadeable on the device, although the files show when connected to a computer. Another thing to consider with this mix is that if you write files to this drive when in the the sansa clip, you cannot add files afterwards. they write and show on the computer, but will not show on the device, even though they they are there, and if you then delete them via you computer, they still remain as part of the used memory, so the only option is a format. My advice is to make all you files up into a bulk itme, format the device, then put all the files onto the sansa in one go, that way, it reads them all. complicated, but when you use a 8gb sd card or less this does not happen. Item also seems to be restricted to 853 mp3 files on the sansa, still under testing though so will update when complete <<<update>>> 18/12/2013 Having exhausted the sansa forum and reading all the problems regarding this size of sdhc card with the 2gb and 4 gb clip players, I have found that around 853 files is the amount that actually works on the machine and even if it registers more, they will not play. I am still experimenting as there has been mention also of temperatures and as this transfers at about 4mbps the heat may play a part of the transfer failure. so far I have 6.6gb successful transfer one folder at a time (679 mp3 files @320kbps). I suspect once I reach the 800's it will fail again. the micro sdhc card seems genuine but I cannot rule out categorically that the card is the culprit as I only have one 32gb card. <<<Last Update>>> 18/12/2013 after some very long sessions and complete waste of time trials I have discovered that this item must be either faulty or counterfeit. It can only hold around 9gb or readable data, and no more. I thought it may be my sansa clip, so tried it straight into my pc. it behaved the same and only read the first 9gb of data. after that, even though it showed the data it could not read it. I have quite a lot of experience with sd cards and this item has behaved very well, if it was a 9gb card, and not a 32gb card. it also has issues with files loss if you try and put more on after the initial files. I was putting this down to many things but now I see that there must be some fault inside the sd card, as I have no other issues with my trusty old 8gb card(see my earlier purchase). that one was genuine and I still have it with 100% reliability. I have requested a refund from the seller. Seller has refunded. I have tried another sdhc card from a local shop of 32gb, it cost me three times the amout but works with the full capacity on my sansa clip, so I can definitely say there was a fault with the card, and not my sansa. As a last note. I had run the h2testw fully and it tested 100% perfect for this card, which is why I was puzzled and reluctant to blame the card. This has taught me that the freeware programme h2testw is not fool proof. It is the first time it has failed me though, in future I will test with more than one method before spending two days trying everything in the book to get something to work. I still maintain my five star rating as the vendor has provided a perfect service, and this may be just a one off for them. ~~~~######LAST UPDATE~~~~~######## Have purchased a Kingston 32gb micro sd card, see my review when I post it there next. This sandisk i can now confirm is counterfeit. the paint has completely fallen off which it would not do if it was genuine. It was packaged so professionally and there was no indication of tampering. it had me fooled. It has shaken my confidence in Sandisk as i have until now exclusively used them, and recommended them. My switch to Kingston is a permanent one and i shall not buy Sandisk again. I also am trying Fujifilm flash storage which is quite good. I have reduced the rating, but only because the product was not fit for use, every other aspect of the purchase was faultless
