In my experience Teng tools don’t disappoint with regards to quality at a reasonable price point.
Under 45 quid is a very competitive price.Bought this little torque wrench specifically to work on motorbike’s and I’m very pleased I did. Surprisingly good quality at this price point ,not Snap On but not 400 quid. Accommodates lower torque settings generally required for motorbikes and bicycles with a satisfying audible click and is ideal for tight spaces Sturdy case it came in will help keep it properly calibrated (comes with certificate) Much easier to set to correct torque than my larger more expensive Facom wrench which has now pretty much redundant apart from maybe working on commercial vehicles engines which I don’t but the little Teng seems to be capable of most jobs bikes or small cars can throw at it ,if ur a mechanic you’ll no doubt have a wrench for all eventualities. Torque wrench’s are temperamental little buggers so time will tell but overall impression so far…Genuinely Outstanding ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great little wrench!
First time I've bought Teng tools. Read all the reviews, etc - went for it! This is a really good torque wrench. Comes with an individual Calibration certificate. The user manual is quite clear in saying that you must "work" it a few times when it's new or after it hasn't been used for a while. Just put a socket on it, clamp the socket in a vice and operate the wrench a few times in each direction to make sure the torque "click" is working. After that, it works perfectly. Can't blame the tool for those who don't bother reading the instructions. If you're some kind if idiot don't buy this torque wrench. However, if you can read and follow simple instructions and care for your tools, you'll find it's a great little wrench at a great price! Oh - the "click" is obvious by feel but also plenty loud enough to hear.

Great quality for the NM range of 2-25 is really limited.
Really the one star I have knocked off is a bit unfair as it is partly my fault, I was undecided about getting the 3/8" or 1/2" Torque and had put them in favorites to come and order when decided. Of course when I ordered I did so on my tablet whilst in a rush to get out and so I ordered the 1/4". It is a good torque wrench except for the price there are wrenches with a better spread of torques setting. I wanted a wrench that would cover below 10nm but also really wanted one that covered over 50nm's. There is a 3/8 Teng wrench that does and it is much more expensive the the 3/8's that has the same 5-25nm that this one does. So whilst I have a converter in my socket set so I can use with 3/8 sockets and torx bits, it was at it's limit when I needed to torque my transmission sump and filler plug. I decided to keep it but will have to splash out again for 3/8" with higher range.

Good tool - needs "warming up" before doing low torques. Doesn't go to 2.5Nm (does 5Nm)
Lots of negative reviews saying it stripped threads by not clicking at low torques. I read the instructions - it says before using on low torques to practise a few times by trying to tighten a nut already done up to a high torque - thereby exercising the torque lockoff mechanism. Worked a treat for me and gave reassurance that it would click out at 5Nm. Listing is inaccurate though - it doesn't go down to 2.5Nm, it starts at 5Nm. Although I did manage to use it below that and it did feel as though it was continuing close to tolerate at lower torques.. Good product, good Teng quality (and no I'm not paid to review anything lol)

Works really well
Can’t fault it, good quality easy to use and gives a good solid click when it reaches the set torque. Comes in a decent storage case to protect it.
