Great game
This is a great game for 4 or more people, had a lot of fun over Christmas with it Tried to play it with 3 people to start with. It can be adapted for this with only a little imagination, not quite as easily as the original game, which we have played so often that we have run through all questions and answers. There is a real need to supply more packs of different question cards with these games, please. Another benefit, apart from the huge fun is that depending on how many times you choose to go round the board it can take a shorter time--30mins ish--- or longer if you wish

A fun game for adults and teens
This is a simple but fun game which we played with adults and teens. It is intended to 4 players plus. The game is basically about communication-each counter represents a team of players and the team takes turns to describe a word on a card, mvoing the number of spaces on a die (which starts at numeral 3) around a board. The colours on the card represent a different subject. The words to describe can be quite difficult-not sure if younger children would get them (it is intended for age 12 years plus). We had great fun playing this with six of us (3 teams of 2) , the laughs coming when one attempted to describe Mardi gras as a Jewish festival and another seeming to use her leg in all descriptions !

Great family fun
We came across this game when we found it in a rental holiday cottage. Its simple but great fun, particularly for larger groups. It involves splitting into teams and each team is given words which one team memebr needs to describe to the others. Its perfect to bring together a wide age group so ideal for family holidays. Some of the words are a bit tricky. I wouldnt recommend it for children below 10. We got round this by allowing the younger chidren to pass if they didnt know the word.

Great game for all the family
Played this game lots over Christmas with various family and friends spanning several generations. The variety of categories make the game suitable for all ages - we found that the older players tended to do better on entertainment and sport whereas the younger people did better on social life - and the random timer helped level out the scoring. The cards cover a great variety of topics in all categories and it's always good fun to play. Can definitely recommend for anyone looking for a family game.

Such a good game
By far my favourite game to play. It definitely gets everyone pretty competitive and has a variety of different things to explain. Iโd definitely say itโs more recommended for teenagers - adults because some of the cards have famous people/ places where I donโt even know ๐

Make sure you have AA batteries for the timer!
Should I really give this 5 stars??? From consistently winning most family games with the standard set, my husband and I are now struggling to keep up with family members who are in their twenties and teens. Lots of fun all the same! Just make sure you have AA batteries as these were not in the box for us - and without them the electronic timer doesn't work, so we did not have the element of uncertainty as to when the time would be up.

good concept, bad timers and board but still fun
the describing part of the game is very well done plus there are lots of cards so plenty for multiple games. The board game is a bit rubbish, the timers are probably a bit fast. I don't think there is a chance of ever getting 8. The game descends into all of us just answering instead of teams but we still enjoy seeing how many we can guess. Says 12 plus so we give our youngest who is 7, 3 words from 6 cards (any colour) 2 of the easiest and 1 a bit tricky so that she can also enjoy the fun of articulating and having us other 3 guess. Glad I bought this game even if we don't enjoy playing it right.

Not like the pictures
Got delivered with a electronic timer button instead of the two hourglasses on the picture I explicitly ordered from them to not get this button

Great game concept BUT too much UK content for most ...
Great game concept BUT too much UK content for most North Americans. There should be a North American version. Never the less we have enjoyed it after modifying the rules to allow an unlimited number of cards to be discarded when the content is completely unknown.

ARTICULATE IS THE BEST GAME EVER, just not THIS version
I highly recommend the original version of Articulate--it you love games, the fact that this is a British trivia version will not deter you, just make you try harder and add a little more charades play in. We cannot wait to play it when our family gathers and have made sure that every home in our family group owns one. However, this more American-styled version is dumbed down and inserts a very shortened time limit which makes the game exasperating and hardly as downright hilarious as the original. We played it once and donated it. Get the original.
