I'm can't help but be amused when asked to review a cable. It's a cable. It is a cable that works, however. It plugged in and transferred the video signal first time without and problems, and is continuing to do so as I write this review. Would I recommend it? Yes. If you require an HDMI to DVI cable, then this is the cable for you, especially if your display in no further than 1.8m from the source. If it is further away then this is not the cable or you and you should consider a longer cable. What else can I say? The thumb screws work well and it came nicely packaged. So, hopefully, I have removed any doubt and you can feel confident in your potential purchase! Rob

Purchased a new monitor without realising it couldn’t link to my old desktop computer 🙈 after a little research I found this wonderful cable and it worked like a treat. I didn’t know that a DVI to HDMI cable existed and the picture quality is not compromised...thought I would send the monitor back or have a buy a new computer - no, this little cable did the job👍

A no brainer. This is a great price for an HDMI to DVI cable! The quality of the product is excellent. The cable is nice and chunky with cable strain relief at both ends. The plugs fit perfectly. I had the thumb screws with mine and it does look exactly as the picture of the product for sale. The quality of the picture looks perfect with no flickering, ghosting, colour issues etc so for me a perfect solution to connect my laptop to my monitor. No issues from my side so certainly a recommended product!

Bought this to connect a Samsung non HDMI monitor to a laptop with only a HDMI ouput, as the monitors only have DVI and VGA inputs. Had my fingers crossed it would work and it does perfectly. The cable is of a decent quality and the length matched what was stated. The connectors either end look solid enough to me and connected up as they should with no looseness or excessive stiffness.

I bought this cable so I could use my old desktop screen with my laptop. I went to Curry’s to make sure I was getting the correct cable. I was going to buy it there but they wanted £20 for it. I’m so glad I got this, I paid a fraction of the cost. It was literally plug it in and it worked instantly. I’m absolutely delighted.

I was trying to add a new monitor to a PC that wasn't old but didn't have any of the newer type of ports such as DP. To a non techy person it was quite complicated and 3 other solutions didn't work, some kind of backwards incompatibility but this product was recommended to me by a tech and it worked first time and it's of a good quality. Don't muddle with trial and error.....ask someone who knows their stuff !

Il cavo si presenta bene, arriva in una sacca di plastica piuttosto spessa che protegge bene il prodotto durante il trasporto. Il cavo ha una buona robustezza ma tuttavia non risulta rigido quanto altri cavi che avevo in precedenza. Per me il bonus, per il prezzo pagato, è la bi-direzionalità delle uscite. Avevo necessità di portare da input DVI ub segnale HDMI al monitor e molti dei prodotti visionati permettevabo solo il processo inverso. Segnalo anche con piacere che non c'è perdita di qualità nello switch.

Works well and gives that hdmi, good for when your graphics card is big homo and only has one hdmi slot. Quite suitable for more than one monitor setups

I've only tested this in the HDMI to DVI direction (for plugging to older monitors), but this thing does the trick. Most of the cables at the local computer store say they are DVI to HDMI only, so this is a good buy for sure. Affordable, too!
