Your size is identified by the arrows. I already knew what my entire family sizes were. I only purchased to keep track of my 9 and 6 year old sizes. They grow rapidly. This device had everyone sizes correct with 100% accuracy. So if you get the wrong size its because you didn't use the right chart or you took the size from the end of your toe and not the arrow.
