## Questions & Answers

**Q: What waste is needed for this**
A: You don’t need special waste. It depends on your sink. You can use normal u bend, but we have a pedestal stand so we used an inline pedestal waste for that and a u bend for the bath.  Thrilled with these, they are fabulous taps and look stunning when running.

**Q: Does this tap develop lots of limescale over time?**
A: That depends on where you live. I'm in scotland and limescale in the water supply isn't a problem here. If you live in say the south of England then limescale in the water supply probably is highly likely. If your kettle gets a build up then likely any tap will over time too. So I'm afraid your dammed If you buy or not as its won't be the taps fault. All you can do is clean it more often with a cleaner that removes limescale deposits.

**Q: Are the rubber o seals sufficient or should i use tape as well**
A: It's been in situ for years and doesn't leak. Follow the fitting instructions and no tape will be needed

**Q: Has this basin tap got a swivel spout?**
A: No. The spout is fixed. Only the tap-top turns left and right for hot or cold.

I recently installed this waterfall mixer tap in my bathroom, and it has completely transformed the look and feel of the sink area. The water flows out in a gentle, open cascade, just like a mini waterfall - very relaxing and visually striking. It adds a touch of modern elegance and feels more like a spa than a regular bathroom! Installation was straightforward, and the build quality feels solid and durable. The lever handle is smooth and precise - easy to adjust both temperature and flow. I’ve noticed no drips or leaks since it went in. A quick wipe with a soft cloth now and then keeps it looking like new. Overall, a fantastic upgrade - stylish, functional, and well worth the price.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product; Curved waterfall design better than square

Bought to replace a Cook&Lewis waterfall tap from B&Q, which was a square style. With no prior experience of using a waterfall tap on a daily basis, turned out square ones are terrible as with a low flow it the water goes backwards, under the spout, staining the underside with limescale, and falling on the top of the sink, rather than into the basin. This is particularly problematic if your C&L sink has no bloody catchment area, so the water just rolls off onto the floor when someone forgets to shut the tap completely off... So with the slight curve downwards, underside backflow is largely prevented, although it does mean the waterfall effect itself loses a little of the lovely "sheet" like behaviour. Haven't seen an issue out of the box with internal seals. Install was easy, the kit comes with a long plastic tubular spanner, includes pipes (although they are plain, no colour-marking). Only negs, it's a shame the spout isn't even just 10mm longer, it doesn't stick out quite far enough over the basin to be entirely mouth-rinse comfortable, and I kinda miss the red/blue hot/cold markers from the C&L. The plain ones on the Hapilife are a bit faint.
