Price point is great!!!This reel is perfect for spots and largest, goes great with a Daiwa Arid X fast tip medium rod!

Very smooth and light
The media could not be loaded. Bought to replace a stradic that I subsequently fixed. I spooled it up and couldn't be more pleased. It's so smooth and light. It weighs less than the stradic. I used 2500 size for trout and reds in Florida. This should do nicely going forward. Paired with an ugly stick inshore select medium action and 15 pound braid. I'm in business for half the price of the stradic

Got this as a gift. Very smooth reel. The recipient like using it. Not many reels in the same price range stand up to this reel.

Perfect for the price. Unfortunately it’s a little cheaper construction plastic body, but makes up for it in the loss of overall weight.

SHIMANO Miravel 2500 Spinning Reel - Great performance and value!
I really love this reel. I use it mostly for finesse worms / soft and hard jerk baits and small crank baits. Coupled with Daiwa J-braid X8 (15 lb. - 4 lb. dia.) this is performing flawlessly. So far... no wind knots, casts farther than I need it to, which gives me pretty good accuracy and control, and after a hook set, the drag is smooth. Haven't lost a fish yet! I fish several times per week, and I've had this for 5 months. Included a few representative shots of fish caught using this reel.

This item was obviousy used as it was already assembled and placed in its box improperly...bail didn't work, likely the reason for first buyers return.
