Review: The only thing that’s worked for our cat - This product has been a life saver for us. We were recommended it from our vets for our rescue cat that was urinating outside the litter tray. He is an anxious cat and the vet’s ruled out an infection or stones but he had a high PH urine causing cystitis. We tried a few other things first and eventually this product. After a few days on these we noticed a massive difference, he was alot calmer, using his litter tray more often and his PH returned to normal after a repeat urine test. He eats it fine sprinkled on his food. Great product, that worked really well for us!

**Q: does it have any flavouring? cystophan which is similar has chicken flavour. my cat is very picky so was wondering regarding the flavour. thanks.**
A: Not sure if it is flavoured but my cat will only eat one brand of cat food in a tin won't eat pouches. Would normally have to mix medication in tuna but she eats her food without a problem when I add the cystease powder from the capsule. Hope this helps. The cystease has helped my cat.

**Q: Can you give the measures of the active ingredients? Would like to compare to Cystophan for dosage.**
A: The bottle label gives active ingredients list as follows:  125mg N-Acetyl Glucosamine; 37.5mg L-Tryptophan; 10mg Hyaluronic Acid.

**Q: Is this okay for hamsters? My vet recommend as something to try**
A: Feliway is designed to be used for felines to have a stress relief effect. I've never used it for any other animal but a quick review of the question on Google does not give a positive message. I am no vet so cannot comment on his advice. Feliway themselves say it is safe to use around other animals but bear in mind the pheromones used in the diffuser/spray are those of cats. Not the answer you expected. I suggest you google ' How to reduce stress in hamsters' - there's some good advice on there.

I have used this for my 12 yr old cat for the past year and her recurrent episodes have completely ceased.  I open caps and empty info her food. Wet food only not dry. Plus a raw egg. All best

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seems to help, am happy so far

The bottle was sealed, with a BB date of 04/23. I was looking at Protexin Cystophan, but these were a better price for 30 (less so now), and have exactly the same ingredients in the same quantities. I also bought Vet's Best Urinary Tract support and their Multi System support, for my cat's flu-like symptoms. He's had a "blocked bladder" (as per the vet) 3 times in past, could not urinate at all, and had to have a catheter. Recently, he again could not urinate, but this time, it was a "mucus plug" for which the vet had no explanation, except his history of bladder problems. After having a catheter, he was later allowed home on pain meds, but seemed to still have problems urinating, and was constantly licking himself. Based on the reviews and people saying vets had recommended these (or Cystophan), I thought I'd try them. My vet (PDSA) only recommended special food they sell (dry, with loads of grains, although they said wet was better!), horribly expensive and he wouldn't touch it.. This defo seems to help, and is far easier than trying to get him to eat special food he doesn't like. He's no longer licking himself all the time, and seems to be able to urinate well again after 1 week on these, and the Vet's Best urinary paste. I open the capsules, and mix the powder with the paste, as that's strongly flavoured and he likes it. These have no flavour, whereas the Cystophan has chicken flavour, so might get those in future.. putting these on food might not always work, as he might not eat it all, and I don't want to make him swallow them whole, as they're not small. He's big, so am giving him 2 per day, then will move to one per day. It's early days, but considering I thought I'd have to take him back to the vet, am happy so far! Bear in mind that this is not a miracle cure, although they seem to help prevent a recurrence of bladder issues in many cats.. which might be considered a miracle in some cases. If you want to follow Feliway's other recommendations for your cat (on box, in pic 3), I would buy the Beaphar plug-in. Had a noticeable improvement in behaviour, whereas the Feliway multi-cat plug-in seemed to make no difference. Of course, as I'm using 2 products, I can't be sure which is helping, but think I will stop the paste, after a while, and see what happens.
