Hi - these have an 18” diameter cooking grate - but you can extend this If you wish with the half moon grill extenders - 1 or 2 hope this helps

First one arrived broken for me and inside was a mess to be honest. I eventually got a replacement and the packaging was excellent. Arrives on a small pallet and has a wooden top and bottom and sturdy cardboard wrapped around it. Inside was very well packaged with loads of polystyrene to keep everything in place

Are the shelves metal or plastic

I believe they are supposed to be plastic according to the KJ website but mine came with metal ones so was a bonus
