Very good scissors but not the same as my previous ones that seemed sturdier

These scissors are fantastic and are worth every penny! I've only had 3 new oasis scissors in 32 years, my current pair are not as sharp as they used to be ,so for my flower work have treated myself to a new pair but after 15 years of use i can't really complain. . This pair has a little serrated part on the blade with the rest being straight so they are ideal to cut wire ,stems and cellophane.( you can get oasis scissors with a fully serrated blade , these do not cut cellophane) . I must say that the old pair are perfectly fine for household tasks and in my experience their almost bullet proof , they are with out doubt, probably the best scissors in the world.

My wife has had a pair for years and were still functional. The colour had faded but still in good order. Bought her a new pair so she has one for her potting shed and another indoors for flower arranging. Well worth the price.

I got these for use in the Florist I worked for and they were great! Oasis is a known quality provider for floristry tools and sundries so this is no suprise! I can’t cut cello or paper with the oasis carbon scissors which are much sharper and stronger so these are a great fill in for a gap that is very important for a Florist. I used these for over a year most days, they are durable and well made and don’t loose their sharpness easily. I would recommend for any student or Florist!

So handy for flower arranging. Cuts through tough stems. Don't know how I managed without them.
