Goodbye, Keurig! I loved the ease of the K cups but hated the plastic and wanted to switch to a healthier non-plastic coffeemaker. Read lots of reviews and settled on this and love it! I actually set it up the night before (water goes in the bottom, the coffee grounds in the basket, then just screw on the top part with handle) and leave on my (glass/electric) stove top. Then in the morning, just heat it up. Takes about 5-6 minutes until it’s ready. I tried pre-heating the water and prefer it when it starts with room temp water. It’s a LOT easier than I feared and it makes excellent coffee — I got the 10-cup size and it fills one typical large Starbucks mug. So that means a 10-cup is really “one cup of coffee” since I also leave room for milk. Kinda wish they made it bigger but this is fine for one person. Plastic-free and a healthier coffee choice!! Oh, I use the Illy brand “Moka Pot preparation” Arabica grounds and it’s delicious.

I like the design. I don't like the flip top opening "knob". But I've chad it since May. Held up well. Use it everyday. Recently part of the handle has broken off. I didn't mishandle but I wonder if it became to hot on the stove? I keep the flame low and under pot. That is unfortunate but does not affect brewing.

Coffee basket is too small for the boiler volume, brew is somewhat weak compared to some other 3 cup pots. Build quality is very good, manufacturing and aesthetics are top notch.

I have had the 10 cup, London Sip Espresso Pot for 3 months. I have used it about 20 times. It looks brand new. The Gasket and Filter work perfectly. Its a great looking, compact, and easy to clean Espresso Pot. Ive been making Cuban coffee for about 12years and learned some things from "The London Sip" instruction Guide. It had very useful tips. I learned a few things, Like replace the Gasket and Filter. I never heard that before. I didn't know you were suppose to replace them. London Sip has replacement part! Its a really Good value. I'm looking forward to many Great cups of Cuban Coffee for many years.

Apart from great looks, this stovetop works well on gas; hopefully will not corrode like our old aluminium one, plus with some tweaking of our coffee grinder to produce a finer grain (grade 4 out of 16) and by not tamping it down hard (to allow the steam to percolate through the finer grounds) we are making consistently rich smooth coffee after a few not so good trial runs.

Es muy útil. La uso en en estufa de gas e inducción sin problemas. Salen bien 2 tazas de café exprés.

Dopo solo 2 caffè all’inizio la caffetteria è utilizzabile e fa un caffè buonissimo. Per chi beve espressi, questa caffettiera ne fa 3/4 a seconda di quanto si riempie la tazzina. Ottima e consigliatissima. Facile anche da lavare e tenerla pulita per più giorni senza cambiare l’aroma dei caffè successivi
