Amazing value for money
I've used various makes of speakers over the years, both active and passive, some of which cost significantly more than these. Taken in the context of what they cost, these are very impressive. The sound is well balanced and powerful and the rear-mounted controls make them quick to set up and easy to use. In a smallish room (e.g. living room at home) they give loads of bass but in a larger space (e.g. a hotel function room) they would benefit from being paired with some suitable subwoofers, although not absolutely necessary and it depends largely on the type of music being played. This is not a criticism as the same would be true of most other similar speakers. They're plenty loud enough to DJ for example a wedding for up to 150 guests. You might imagine that 15 inch active speakers would be massive and heavy but they're not. In fact they're thinner front to back than I was expecting and actually quite light in weight - very easy carry in and out of a venue and lift up onto stands. The Behringer name has always had a bit of a stigma attached but in my experience the stuff they make has an excellent price / performance ratio and reliability has been great. It remains to be seen whether these speaker stand the test of time but so far I'm very happy with them.

Cracking set of speakers
Having used RCF or JBL speakers for years after ours blew i decided to try a set of these behringers...wow i was soooo suprised by the power and sound quality, our singer loves em sweet mids and highs and deep bass with clean power up to almost max vol.I had to return one after two months but touch wood they are still going strong...they are very very loud but resonably light and easy to pack due to their shape.we are a two piece band with backing tracks so everything goes thru these, bass, guitar vox, music they handle it great the crossover is magic with no mud or frequency breakup at crossover points which is common on some powered speakersRCF Beater ? no but considering they are a quarter of the price i'll be using them from now on i have been playin music for 20 years and i must say i do not get impressed easily but these realy are that good. They sound much better than the powered mackies and would you believe JBL'S i have used, the only thing remains to be seen is how they stand up to wear and tear like i said i had one fail after a few months just bad luck i guess but had it replaced by amazon in a flash so far no problems....Even if they fail after a year i'd still be happy at this price nothing even comes close....

it's pretty impressive. Turned volume up to around half way ...
Had first try of this speaker this week at gig volume. Got to say, it's pretty impressive. Turned volume up to around half way and it was more than loud enough and very responsive - I have created my own backing tracks with drums, bass, keys etc.. and it handled all these frequencies extremely well including my vocals and lead guitar mic'ed up. Bass was surprisingly responsive. For this price? Can't fault them.I know some people have complained about them packing up. Will comment on durability after a lot of gigs.

great light weight speakers
I'ma vocalist with a pretty loud band and these are great so far, good volume and good overall sound, and you don't have to be a worlds strongest man competitor to lug them about.

Excellent sound when used in the right environment... large rooms, acoustically treated rooms or outdoors.
Fantastic sound via Bluetooth when used outdoors. These generate fast transients which you will perceive as poor sound in an untreated room. If you use them in a large room or outdoors (a very large room) particularly with a hedge behind, they sound awesome and can generate very high volume. You have the capability here to use for a band PA, a disco, your own outdoor concert. Plug in a Mic you have karaoke. I have Quad ESL 2905s. Indoors, in a house, you can't compare. The Quads win, easily. Outdoors where transients aren't an issue, these speakers are awesome for the price. Get some. Impress your friends and neighbours many streets away. Make sure your Bluetooth source is set to best quality and powered to avoid irritating dropouts which are caused by your device unless you go out of Bluetooth range. Not massive bass but good enough for me. Tempted by the Behringer 15" sub, but then the noise police will be visiting me. Believe me,these can be played very loud, but getting people to stick their fingers in their ears isn't the best way for them to appreciate music.

Soo good and crystal clear
This speaker is so good. turn the bass half way and turn high and volume half I use a sub and this gets extremely loud , the pressure on these are powerful , use a sub with these and use these for highs and mids ss and can ensure they won't fail or blow , remember these are loud speaker not subs if use correctly you will be happy any with this , a club a house party , weddings , halls

Great product, really good quality and powerful clean sound
Great product, really good quality and powerful clean sound. Used these for the first time at a venue with 200 people, room size about 4000sqft with no issues More than capable of dealing with a variety of music

Brilliant buy
Bought 2 of these to make setup a tad quicker at events rather than using passive PA's. These things can take a beating before any clip lights and keep very cool for the most part. Dual XLR/Jack inputs are useful and I guess the wireless mic option might come in handy one day.Mega light for an active 15" PA but the ABS case does scratch quite easy. One came with a gauge on the top but I really didn't think it was worth the trouble sending it back just for that. All in all, decent buy for the money!
