Review: Bit loud but moves air at some pace - impressive - Its a bit loud (air flow noise rather than mechanical noise) but of course it is an extractor fan not a cooling fan so this is to be expected. That said, it moves air at some volume and in my case I wanted to bolt it to a stand and attach it to a 12" flexible ventilation duct to turn it into a portable extraction system to remove dust in rooms during DIY projects and this works a treat (it has a very convenient rim to easily attach the ducting to). Lot cheaper than a purpose built builders extraction unit and it takes up less space.

Its a bit loud (air flow noise rather than mechanical noise) but of course it is an extractor fan not a cooling fan so this is to be expected. That said, it moves air at some volume and in my case I wanted to bolt it to a stand and attach it to a 12" flexible ventilation duct to turn it into a portable extraction system to remove dust in rooms during DIY projects and this works a treat (it has a very convenient rim to easily attach the ducting to).
