I was looking for a temporary solution for a family member who'd had foot surgery. This ramp is very sturdy, very easy to position. It's HEAVY. if you can't lift 50-plus pounds, you won't be able to lift this.

We have about a 2.5 inch high step from our garage into our house. I have experienced some mobility problems recently and use a wheelchair. This ramp has made that step easy for my chair to maneuver. It is solid and easy to transport if we need to travel with it.

We use this to get down a 6" high gap from back door to down to porch floor with wheelchair. 24" is just right. It's sturdy and well constructed. It does take a strong person to transferr up and down this short ramp.

I intentionally needed something that would work and yes, economical, because when someone in a blink of an eye -becomes a paraplegic - listen, money goes here, money goes there - money goes -freaking - EVERYwhere. There isn’t a list given to say,”here are all of the things you need when your life changes”.The house has a wooden ramp several years ago for my father. The transition from driveway to ramp causes wheels to turn. This restricted my (brother- now a paraplegic) from independently rolling into the ramp and into the home.Bought for family member and it absolutely does the trick. It isn’t AS heavy or sturdy as I had hoped for but it is fine - I’m being picky. Read the measurements - yes, I knew the size, but for reference, it’s only a few inches wider than a wheelchair.

So far so good. I was able to move my work bench to an outdoor work area with a little maneuvering. We'll see it does after a few months.
