MasterClass, Pestle and Mortar, Non-porous Granite Mortar and Pestle Set, 12 x 9 cm, Grey

I received this pestle and mortar a while ago. What a perfect kitchen addition and it was exactly what I wanted. Excellent quality, value for money, and it also looked very attractive on my worktop. I loved the sturdiness of the mortar; and I felt confident it would have taken a lot of pounding by the pestle to crush spices and seeds, and grind herbs and numerous other ingredients. However, I found it too heavy for me, but then that was only because I'm disabled. I contacted the seller who generously gave me extra time to return it. I've never come across a company who were so helpful, considerate and understanding of my needs. Lovely to deal with. So, not only was this item very good quality and attractive, albeit too heavy for me; if I could give the seller a star rating out of 5, it would be a 6. Highly recommend this item and this seller.

Looks good. It is small but very functional and has a very good heavy weight to it so feel like a real chef in the kitchen

It survived the delivery despite it being upside down. It looks good and is the right size for my needs. I hope it doesn't break when I use it but it does look a good quality item.

It works really good. Grindability is perfect. Looks great, easy to clean. The weight is just fine. Mortar cracking is great.

Decent quality, heavy stone grinding set purchased to grind medication. Handle comfortable, easy to use and was pretty good value. It's a little difficult to clean but otherwise great

This is a perfect size for making marinades with fresh or dried herbs . Heavy but stable when using it ,ideal if you do a lot of home cooking ,it comes in its own box and would make a welcome pressy to someone just setting up home . This will last me for ever ,and I love the feel of it its easy to pulverise the ingredients and cleans up well . It arrived next day well packaged as always with Amazon

Also ich weiß nicht, was der eine oder andere sich am Abrieb stört. Fakt ist, dass Keramik schon mal natürlich mehr Abrieb bietet. Granit und/oder Marmor sind Mineralien, daher einmal nicht schlimm. Andererseits überlege ich gerade, wobei es mir im Essen knackt und knirscht: Champignons auf Rügen, Spinat, Heilerde oder wenn man mal aus Versehen im Ei ein Stück Schale hat... Was knirscht denn jetzt mehr, das Feine Mehl von dem bisschen Abrieb des Mörsers? Hat der eine oder andere sich mal gefragt, was Steinsalz ist? Oder das rosa Salz, was man uns für dumm als Himalayasalz verkauft??? Ich konnte nur einen Makel finden - ich finde, der Stößel ist einfach zu kurz.
