Love it. The concealed keyboard is excellent for those of us who need to type actual sentences rather than work in emoji! All my contacts emails diary from my outlook and my old iPhone sync beautifully with the quick download of an app or two. Very user friendly and the photo quality is amazing. The inclusion of a sd slot is great! All music and photos now easily transferable, and frees up the space on the phone for more apps!

The phone looks and feels really nice. There's a nostalgic feeling when typing with a physical keyboard on the phone compared to on-screen keyboard. The BB take on android is similar to Cyanogen Mod, where there is a high level of customisation compared to stock android. You can really make it your own. The dual curve screen as well as slim build makes it fit nicely in the pocket and the back non-removeable cover also feels good. The battery stand by is really good.

if it had BB10 it would be a 5 star, but since it's chaotic Android it only gets 4 stars :-( Blackberry did it's best with Android, adding their stuff like calendar and especially the hub, and i'm hoping it will improve more so it will be on par with what those apps can do on BB10...

Great looking phone, but it has the battery life of a banana. It went to 75% in half an hour of ordinary use (no streaming, no location finder). Haven't had the guts to try it out because the phone will die during the day without charge and I don't want to be left hanging. Sticking with my Edge 6 Plus.

was not sure if I would like Blackberry's first full android phone. I really like it. I use it instead of my 7" tablet to read books, email is fine, screen is great.

Had a blackberry bold 9780. Blew me away from the first time i turned it on. Sounds, graphics, battery life, feel, blazing fast keyboard, customizations. Went from that to a Motorola driod 4. Again the same experience but battery life was less than a day compared to bolds 5 or 6 days. This phone however isn't blackberry. Trust me. The keyboard is awkward almost unnecessary, which is why you bought it in the first place right?, so what you are left with is a regular big screen phone. But guess what. No customization on ring tones or alerts. Which kills it, only like 15 simple loser sounds to choose from. And then you have blackberry hub which combines all email accounts but doesn't tell you which single account the email has been sent too. Some one simplified it by saying it's too much of a good thing, and that's why I give it 2 stars because it is, but trust me it isn't. Thank god I only wasted 180 on it and didn't buy it brand new. Overall before you buy it imagine never using the keyboard and then ask yourself whether it's worth it. Any ways hope this helps.

Finally a secure Android that doesn't come with loads of bloatware. Physical and on screen keyboards are excellent and very quick and accurate with flick typing. BlackBerry Hub is still the best notification centre. Android OS is still light years behind BB10, but has the Apps. If BB10 had the Apps ...

By far the best phone I ever had. I always require a physical keyboard because it's works better for me than any digital keyboard but I like Android OS too! The Priv it's upgradable to Android 6.1, wish is still pretty decent by today. Also the phone it's decently fast and have enough memory to handle everything I have throw at it for now. Battery duration it's pretty good considering i'm a very heavy user. The only thing I wish on this phone is Android 7.0. I see the phone specs and I don't understand why Blackberry dont make it upgradeable since the specs can handle Android 7.0. Works perfect with ClaroPR (Puerto Rico) at full LTE speeds.

Ich habe das Blackberry Priv als Ersatz für mein Sony Xperia Pro gekauft. Ich wollte auf jeden Fall wieder ein Smartphone mit physischer Tastatur und Android System. Neu war mir das Priv eigentlich zu teuer. Ich hatte allerdings Glück und hab es Mitte Juli am Prime Day bei den Amazon Warehouse Deals zum absoluten Schnäppchenpreis erstanden. Ich war zuerst skeptisch mir ein Smartphone zu kaufen, das als 'gebraucht' eingestuft wird, dachte mir aber, dass bei 30 Tagen Rückgaberecht das Risiko gering sei. Ich habe es nicht bereut. Man sah zwar, dass der Karton schon mal geöffnet und wieder zugeklebt worden war, aber sonst waren das Gerät und die Verpackung makellos. Nun zum Gerät selbst: Das Priv fühlt sich sehr hochwertig an. Die matte, leicht gummiert wirkende Rückseite ist sehr griffig und es lässt sich auch nichts eindrücken. Alles fühlt sich stabil und gut verarbeitet an. Das Display hat eine tolle Auflösung und schöne Farben und es nimmt kaum Fingerabdrücke an, zumindest wenn man nicht grad mit klebrigen Händen drangeht. Ich muss es ganz selten mal abwischen. Der Akku hält bei mir 1-2 Tage, je nach Nutzung. Das Priv wird mal ein bisschen warm beim Aufladen, aber keinesfalls heiß. Die physische Tastatur lässt sich sauber aufschieben, ohne knarzen und wackeln. Allerdings kann sie die querliegende Tastatur meines alten Sony nicht toppen. Diese lag bequemer in der Hand und die Größe und Anordnung der Tasten war, für meine Empfinden, einfach besser. Man muss sich beim BB Priv erstmal eine neue Handhaltung beim Tippen suchen, da es durch die Länge bei ausgezogener Tastatur doch ein bisschen kopflastig wird. Die Tasten selbst haben einen guten Druckpunkt, und dass man die Wortvorschläge mit Wischgesten in den Text schnippen kann, ist eine feine Sache :) Die Software läuft flüssig. Die vorinstallierten Apps sind teils nützlich und teils hab ich sie durch bessere ersetzt oder meine Apps vom alten Smartphone weiterverwendet. Die Blackberry DTEK-App find ich ne gute Sache, man hat damit sicher im Blick, welche Apps auf was zugreifen. Die Kamera macht sehr gute Bilder, allerdings waren auch schon die Fotos meines alten Sony überraschend gut. Mein Fazit: Die Mängel, die in den anderen Rezensionen beschrieben wurden, kann ich nicht bestätigen, aber vielleicht hatte ich einfach nur Glück. Ich würde das Blackberry Priv auf jeden Fall jederzeit wieder kaufen.

después de mas de un año estoy contentísimo con el teléfono, es rápido, fluido, dura la batería, el teclado físico me encanta para usarlo en algunas ocasiones, la verdad que contentísimo, lo unico que le pongo una pega es a que tiene sistema operativo android, sistema que no deja de abrir aplicaciones en segundo plano constantemente, echo un poco de menos cuando eran blackberrys, porque eso no lo hacían, pero a día de hoy o tienes android, iphone o no tienes nada por intereses de algunas pocas compañías.

Arrivato in perfette condizioni e in breve tempo. Passo da uno Z10 con sistema operativo nativo BlackBerry a BlackBerry Priv con sistema Android Marshmallow. Sinceramente ci ho messo un po' di tempo per abituarmi, ma devo dire che a parte le prime volte che si usa, qua il sistema operativo Os10 è replicato con tanto di Hub. In più si possono configurare molte più caselle di posta ( io ne ho 12 ) rispetto allo Z10 e finalmente le applicazioni di Facebook e di Whatsupp girano da paura e dal 30 giugno il servizio funzionerà ancora !!! Per trasferire i contatti basta scaricare una App disponibile sia per Z10 che per Android. Unica pecca non esiste un software per la gestione da Desktop come BlackBerry Link o BlackBerry Blend etc. Per il prezzo che viene vale molto più di un Apple o di un Samsung. BlackBerry forever...

Ich habe viele Smartphones besessen, darunter 2 iphones, Windowsphones und Android. Und eine ganze Stange Blackberries. Zuletzt in Betrieb hatte ich ein Blackberry Passport und ein Lenovo ZUK Z1. Das PRIV ersetzt nun mein Passport und mein Z1. Und eines vorweg: nachdem ich mir das PRIV eingerichtet habe (ich behaupte so eine Optimierung dauert immer 2 Tage bis eine Woche) muss ich sagen: Ich liebe dieses Gerät. Ich habe das "BlackBerry Flip Cover Leder für Priv braun " von Blackberry dazu gekauft - hier auch eine klare Empfehlung: das Original wertet das PRIV noch einmal funktional und optisch auf. Ich verwende das PRIV mit einer LG Urbane. Geniale Kombination - optisch wie funktional. Als Launcher habe ich den ZENUI-Launcher konfiguriert - zusammen mit den Verbesserungen von Blackberry habe ich so ein Effizienz-Monster erschaffen. [EDIT 27.04.2016: Habe den ZENUI-Launcher wieder durch den Blackberry Launcher ersetzt. Ich finde zwar die Struktur vom ZENUI super und ewig effizient in der Bedienung - habe aber subjektiv das Gefühl, dass der ZENUI viel Ressourcen will und der Blackberry Launcher einfach flüssiger läuft. EDIT 10.05.2016 Habe nach Marshmallow Update auch wieder den ZENUI bis jetzt einwandfrei am laufen! Alles wieder perfekt.] Auch der Dateimanager von Asus (mit der netten UI und gut zugänglichen Wireless Dateiaustausch etc.) ist sehr empfehlenswert als Ergänzung zu den vielen Verbesserungen von Blackberry. Ins Unternehmen verbinde ich mich mit Good von Blackberry. Meine Pros und Cons: + Der HUB. Grandios! Schon alleine der ist ein Kaufgrund! + 1A Versorgt mit den aktuellsten Sicherheitspatches. + Tastatur: beleuchtet, mit Touchpad-Funktion - Tastatur: Hätte mir eine am Passport orientierte Version gewünscht, Layout ist eher an den alten BB's orientiert. + Bildschirm: Knackscharf. Super Kontrast. + Akku: Hält locker über den Arbeitstag (Morgens um 7:30 vom Ladegerät genommen um 1:15 Nachts habe ich noch >50%), ich "spiele" aber nicht. + Die Kamera macht wirklich gute Fotos! + Die vielen detaillierten Ideen, die Blackberry charmant in das Android eingebaut hat und welche das Gerät unverwechselbar und einmalig machen. + Bei meinem Gerät ist die Verarbeitung klasse. Ich verwende es in dem braunen Leder FlipCover und nichts "knarzt" oder wirkt "billig", wie manche behaupten. Im Gegenteil. Das Gerät sieht sehr hochwertig und elegant aus und in Kombination mit dem "BlackBerry Flip Cover Leder für Priv braun" ist es geradezu ein Hingucker. Die Frage, die mich am meisten Bewegt hatte: Vermisse ich BB10? Klare Antwort: JA! Effizient ist BB10 schon. Sehr. Und die sichere Integration von Firmendaten war SEHR effizient gemacht. Bisher ungeschlagen. Ist das PRIV wegen Android schlecht? Klare Antwort: NEIN! Das PRIV birgt so viel liebevolle Detailverbesserungen von Blackberry. Ich habe es mit dem ZEN-Launcher von Asus und dem Dateimanager noch weiter in Sachen Effizienz verbessert. Mit Antivir habe ich das Gerät zusätzlich geschützt. Ich persönlich hatte nie ein besseres Smartphone, welches für mich der "Daily Driver" ist. Und ich hatte einige. Es ist für mich das absolut perfekte Gerät. [EDIT 27.04.2016: Bin immer noch sehr zufrieden und freue mich schon auf das nahende Marshmallow update] Da das mobile Setting für mich geradezu Perfekt ist, hier mein Setting als klare Kaufempfehlung: Blackberry PRIV (mit ZEN launcher und Asus Dateimanager) + BlackBerry Flip Cover Leder für Priv braun + LG Watch Urbane (Pujie Black Watchface) als mobile Begleiter. Ein besseres mobiles Setting hatte ich nie.
