Fiddes- Hard Wax Oil - Clear Satin 1 LTR Tin -Like Osmo by Fiddes

I paid for express delivery ( poor planning ahead!) and was informed by email and text about when and who would deliver...and he was bang on time! The product is great. I had done a fair amount of research about what to use on our hallway flooring, and this got great reviews. I have to agree. Really easy to apply, no fuss and no worries about the final finish, much easier than a varnish. Used according to the instructions, very sparingly and had no excess to remove on either of the two coats. And still have over half a tin left. I now have an amazing looking hallway that will be hard wearing and v easy to repair or re-do. A very happy customer, I'm now looking for other ways to use this product...kitchen table, porous terracotta tiles....! Am recommending highly!

Used on solid oak worktops and the results are great. I have been regularly oiling them for a year or so and after a short period of time they start to look tired again so I was looking for a more permanent solution and this definitely is it. After a light sanding of the worktops the hard wax oil is very easy and quick to apply with a brush. They look and feel hard-wearing and they are easily cleaned as liquids just bead on the surface. The contents goes a very long way, I covered approximately 9m of worktop with 2 coats and I have used about one third of a tin. If you have solid wood worktops this is then product for you.

It is the best wood floor product ever long lasting and can be re-coated without the need for sanding which means you can maintain your floors easily. It is also quick drying so no long wait to walk on the floor it is a really good discovery for anyone who has real wood flooring and comes highly recommended.

Dried very glossy even though it's meant to be satin. I liked it but client wasn't sure. Can't really say very durable as its not in my house

Awesome product which leaves a tough waterproof finish. Easy to get a great finish as long as you read the tin and apply thinly with a good quality brush in a warm environment I applied a coloured first coat then used the clear satin to add extra durability to a kitchen work surface. After 6 months water is still beading and the finish looks like new

Tried a few different finishes on kitchen worktops and this gives by far the best finish and it's easy to use! Only required two coats and looks like new.

Great product, high quality and the finish is spot on. Very happy with the outcome. I used this for my oak staircase and the level of protection is very good. Highly recommend.

This wax oil is super - easy to apply, hard wearing, dries fast, and leaves lovely golden colour. Used on kitchen worktops, and wooden garden patio set. Great results.
