does the stamp on the bottom say England or Made in England?

Since 1996, all Wedgwood,RoyalDoulton, Waterford,Royal Albert stopped manufacturing them in the UK and started outsourcing them in Asia. They made this public, they never deceived people. Its less frail, much bigger in size than the vintage ones. I have been an avid collector and most of my pieces has stamped and were made in england. WWRD is now owned by Fiskars, a finnish company. Wedgwood have very few rare and collectible places still made in England, but they are highly priced. Hope this helps! :)

Is the background blue or green?

The one that I got is light green, but I think it also comes in blue. It's not as green as it looks In the picture, in fact it is almost blue. But it's very beautiful. I think the blue one is actually brighter.

What color exactly is this mug? Someone mentioned powder blue, but it looks minty green on the picture here... please clarify. Thanks!

I have aqua accents in my kitchen and it blends right in. I would say it is a pale aqua green. They are beautiful. Love them.

Lovely!

Bought for my daughter to give as an end of year gift to her teacher. The teacup and saucer were very pretty and delicate, and seemed to be well made and good quality. The seller packaged it with a lot of care. I had read of other sellers not doing this and items arriving broken... I don't know what my daughter's teacher thought of this item but I really liked it!

Royal Albert 2 piece cup and saucer.

Bought as a Christmas present so not yet given but I am sure it will be well received. I am a little disappointed in the outside colour which is a very indistinct pink but the inner pattern is charming.

Nice item, but not a gift box

This a nice item but a lot paler than the picture. This is a present for my twentieth anniversary so I really liked to idea of gift box. I was disapointed when it arrived as the the box was cardboard with a hole cut in it to show the cup and saucer. Basically just a protective box, the sort of thing you would get in tescos etc. The picture used is misleading.

Tea for One

I have reached 43 and suddenly have an over whelming excitement for all things Royal Albert?!?! How did that happen? I fully intended to use this set, but so far have only admired it from inside its box. I know full well that this won’t even get used for best and I will end up collecting them! I bought this colour/style as it was on offer, and I am keeping an eye on other styles I like, when they get reduced I will buy my next!

It's amazing. The outer pink colour on the photo is a bit brighter than on the real thing. Nonetheless it's beautifull.
