Schwarzkopf Color Mask 910 Pearl Blonde Permanent Hair Dye

I rarely write reviews but HAD to for this!I've died my hair a million times... Most recently I was "Rihanna-red". After spending £130 at the hairdressers going blonde again I was happy enough, but still had yellow tints & was still being called Ginge by my hilarious mates!2 months after the hairdressers, I bought this & was over the moon with the results!If you want gorgeous white/ash-blonde hair, this is the product for you! I tried so many times with bleach & toners, ruining my hair in the process, for it to look rubbish again in a few weeks.THIS has given me an even colour all over, my hair is in its best condition and it lifted if from dark blonde/yellow to the colour on the box, no problems :)I can't recommend it more & will be using it again & again (until I get bored of blonde anyway lol)PS I also recommend pro-voke Touch of Silver Twice Weekly Brightening Shampoo to keep away the brassy tones after you've used it :). X

I have struggled for years to find a hair colour that will run evenly from my dark blonde roots with a partly grey hairline, through to what have become porous ends through constant colouring. I've found it in this mask. As I have had disasters with ashy/pearly shades in the past I decided to apply conditioner to the ends of my (shoulder length) hair , cut down the development time to 25 mins, with the split of 20 mins roots and mid lengths and 5 mins pulled through to the ends. This worked just fine for me, and the i panic I had when I saw my hair turning deepest blue when I first applied the mask was groundless! I am thrilled with the light pearly blonde result, and have added this product to my Amazon subscribe and save account so that I don't have to scour the shops to find it every month. 10/10

My hair was a very dark brown which I had dyed turquoise over the top. I bleached my hair and as expected, it went very orange with green bits. I applied the color mask and left it on for about an hour. It completely removed the orange and lightened the green leaving my hair white with only sligh green parts. This is what I was hoping since I intended to dye my hair lilac and needed a very light base to do so. I've since used it once more after my hair turned out a bit too dark and again I was very pleased with it. Left my hair soft and it is now my go to blonde!

Ok, I know it says on the box that if one has more than 30% grey, they shouldn't use this, but I have and I did :)Just to give some background, my hair was dyed a light ash brown then bleached highlights were added, but once the roots started coming through I couldn't be bothered to go through all that again, so I was looking for something different. The greys I've got coming through do not take hair color of any kind, whether it's permanent, demi or semi permanent - it just washes out after a couple of shampoos. I know now that I can't fight it any longer, and will have to go to the "Emmy-Lou Harris-silver" look. So, how to color my hair so that everything kind of blends? I tried a demi permanent color but it left my hair too dark, so I bought he Schwarzkopf Color Mask 910. I must admit I was quite pleased with the overall result. While it didn't give me a "pearl" look (this is more due to the color I already had in my hair and not the product itself), it left me with a very nice "wheat" or "sand" color that blends in with my silver strands beautifully!I found the tub (as opposed to the standard squirty bottle) easier to apply from, which is a plus. The gloves that come with this are quite small around the wrists and that's important to me because I've got tattoos on my hands/wrists that need protecting when coloring my hair. They split a bit when I put them on, but they are quite long, so it was no problem. The conditioner supplied was ok, but I've had better after color conditioners from L'Oreal.After leaving the color in for 45 minutes, washing it out was a breeze. I applied to the conditioner and left it in for the 2 minutes as stated on the instructions. It has a nice smell to it, but I felt as though my hair still needed some extra conditioning. It wasn't as soft or manageable feeling as conditioners with Keratin in it, but once I towel dried it, I put some Argan oil to the ends of my hair and it felt a bit better.What I did notice for the next couple of days was that my hair had a "plastic" feel to it - kinda like doll hair which was not acceptable. I've not had this problem before, despite the fact that I color/bleach my hair for the past two decades, it's always remained soft and shiny. After about the 3rd - 4th wash, the plastic texture is all but gone, leaving my hair normal again and with the color that is very appealing.Overall, I'd say that on virgin hair, this product would be quite good, but to be safe, I'd do it on a Friday night if you're not planning to go out on the weekend so that you've time to wash it at least two more times before Monday morning. As with any color, you never know how your hair will react to it. It does have a good "lift" to it - I'm very pleased with the finished color in my hair. I would recommend this product above standard colors, but Schwarzkopf does need to improve on their after color conditioner.

My favourite hair dye- leaves a really nice light blonde with no yellow or ginger. Does make one stripe of my hair blue (must be the left over bleach or something) but that washes out very quickly. Unfortunately the colour does fade quite fast- even though its meant to be permanent. Doesn’t put me off though- just have to redo roots every 4 weeks rather than 6-8

I decided to go blonde from having jet black hair about a month ago and have spent.. Well, let's just say a lot of money succeeding this goal! I've tried bleaching, toners and even went to the salon but to no avail removing the brassy tones from my hair! This product is absolutely phenomenal, not only did it remove the brassiness from my hair but it appears exactly how it does on the box and is in great condition! If you're yearning for platinum blonde locks, look no further. Can't recommend​ enough!

I was encouraged to buy this because of the photos the other Amazon users posted (especially that girl who achieved a very light blonde despite her brown roots and brassy lengths) but it didn't turn out like that at all for me... I already had blondish hair and it made it a bit yellow/green and strawberry blonde at the roots :(

It’s ok couldn’t see a lot of difference to be honest, it say it lifts x2 I am still waiting for mine to lift one shade let alone 2 ..... I do accept not every product is not suitable for every one. I love it for how you do it a mask rather than a runny dye.!shame it made no difference to hail colour,. I do reall have really light blond hair at. Maybe that’s why it did not work for me

OMG....this is such a beautiful cool pearl color that I have been trying to achieve for YEARS with no success at all! Then I found this product, tried it and couldn't be happier with the results! If you are wanting a nice, pearl no brassy blonde, THIS IS IT!!! Schwarzkopf...please don't discontinue this product! I know you used to have a 1010 pearl blonde but I can't find that one and I assume it gave a tad bit more lift which I wuld LOVE. None the less, LOVE this 910 pearl blonde hair color. I must mention that my hair was pretty blonde already, but had a brassy tone to it. This wiped out the brass. I am sure it will be a smidge darker when I apply it to new root growth, but still love it!

I have tried every brand of hair color known to man, and this is by far the only one that does not leave my hair dry or brassy!! I never need to apply a toner after keeping the hair color on for around 40 minutes! If you have hair then tends to look orange or brassy after coloring, you MUST try this! I can't live without it!

This product applies easily not a lot of harsh odor. The color is beautiful. My hair is ash colored and i get a really nice blonde not as blonde as the box but so much better than i expected for my natural color and not brassy!

This is an excellent product. It was only available from Amazon in my area.
