I have tried so so so many different things to remove 15 year old harsh stains and bad yellowing. Most didn't work at all or if they did they were patchy and caused sensitivity. This however works better than I could have possibly imagined!! Even in the first use the harsh brown lines were basically gone and now after using it 5 or 6 times my teeth are an even colour and getting whiter with every use and I have zero pain and sensitivity. Truly magical!

I was skeptical about this. But after reading a lot of the reviews, I decided to try this whitening powder. I’ve tried whitening strips before, they are horrible and didn’t do much at all. This powder, I used after brushing my teeth ( mouth wash / flossing etc) and it has helped remove stains, my teeth look brighter and have a natural whiteness to them. I have been using this powder for a few weeks and have noticed a big difference. This won’t make your teeth bright white, but it will make them whiter naturally. Highly recommend. ( I used to smoke and drink tea - got stained teeth).

If you are looking for a product that is going to give you a "hollywood" style beaming white smile then this isn't the right product. That said, the powder does help to reduce some stubborn staining from things like coffee. Not enough to whiten the teeth several shades but certainly enough to make a subtle difference, so somewhat effective overall. The taste is pleasant, a nice natural mint with the powder foaming well to give a nice texture; it not very slightly grainy. My only real criticism is the plastic pot it comes in. It's a tight plastic lid that takes a reasonable amount of force to pop off. The issue with that is when the lid comes off, some of the powder flies out too. Not a huge issue but mildy irritating. Overall, for the modest price point and fair results. I would happily recommend and reorder.

This EUCRYL tooth powder has been around forever in my mind & that’ll be as it’s actually 125 years old according to the packaging! This was primarily owned by smokers back in the 70’s & 80’s as this was when tobacco was really only classed as awful for blatantly staining the teeth & well that was its only real negative so everyone smoked around kids & in public places without giving it a second thought (I was one of said kids that’s how I know this) so as mentioned with the teeth that’s why so many had a tub of this in the bathroom & the tub doesn’t seem to have changed in style in anyway! I give it 5* as it does remove stains but you certainly won’t get a brilliantly white smile from using this yet it’ll definitely improve the colour of your teeth which is why I personally 5* rate it as I’m not a fan of the bright white teeth on anyone over the age of 21 as it just looks ridiculous, unrealistic so ultimately fake. If you want a touch of help with stain removal on top of your preferred toothpaste (as you still need to brush regularly & floss if you do so on top of using this as this is just a stain remover it does nothing else apart from lift stains) then I recommend this as it really helps & its work last for a while it’s not a quick 5 minute brush on “whitening” pen/stick, you’ll eventually see results with regular use & keep on using it it’ll start to fight against stains having a chance to settle too. (tea is the biggest culprit in teeth staining). It says on the tub to use it once or twice a week I personally use at least twice no more than four times a week & on the additional couple of times that I use it weekly it’s just a touch, it’s alright stuff, it’s very inexpensive stuff & it’s got to be worthy as it’s 125yrs old!

I can remember my Nan using Eucryl, original, at least 45 years ago (she smoked cigarettes). I decided to buy it for stain removal. 1. Because I had just been to the hygienist 2. I knew the brand 3. It is very reasonably priced. I have only been using this product for a few days and I can already see a difference, however, the reason I am reordering so quickly is because I "flipped" the lid to open it and the whole lot went down the toilet...which could give the impression of other habits 😉 The product appears to have good results but may go back to the original screw top lid.

Works well with repeated use.

I remember my granddad had some of this is his bathroom cabinet 40 years ago when it was called "Smoker's Toothpowder"! Now I don't smoke, but I do drink lots of black coffee and enjoy a glass of red wine or two (ahem) which inevitably has lead to some discolouration over time which I started noticing recently. This stuff is brilliant, and cheap. Now it doesn't work miracles, so it won't make your teeth shining bright white unless underneath your staining they are that colour and condition already. However, this stuff really effectively scrubs away surface staining to leave whatever the natural state of your teeth is. If you've got an existing discolouration issue, then start by using this three or four times for the first week, then two or three times the next week, then you should be able to drop down to an "as and when" maintenance scrub (in my case, about once every 10 days). It is abrasive so you probably don't want to be using it too frequently over a long period of time - and note that if you use toothbrushes with those colour indicator bristles that tell you it's time to change then this stuff will make the colour disappear a lot quicker. To use, it's as simple as wet your brush, shake off excess water, take the lid off the tub, dab the brush in the powder, tap the brush to remove any excess, then brush your teeth as you normally would. It has a very mild mint flavour to it, and dissolves very quickly into a solution that is sufficient to do all your teeth in one go. It leaves the teeth felling exceptionally smooth to the tongue, but it doesn't give you that fresh mouth "zing" you get from a minty toothpaste, so either use mouthwash or brush your teeth again with your regular paste afterwards if you require minty-fresh breath!

Having had a similar polishing treatment at the dentist which did absolutely nothing, I was sceptical, but I'm really impressed with this. You'll never get Hollywood white, but it really does polish up the tea stains etc.
