Gigaset C430H Additional Cordless Handset for C430A

Purchased as an additional handset to existing Gigaset Duo, it was easy to Register and use. Very useful and good value.

Works really well. There is a table on the Gigaset site saying which base models it's compatible with - it's not just the C430A. One tip: there is nothing in the instructions about how to transfer your contact list from the base to this handset. That's because you do that from the base handset (under "Options"), not from this additional one.

Bought to add a handset to our S79 range. This is much cheaper and has most of the functionality of the S79. Gigaset have a page on their website that show inter-handset compatibility which is worth checking out before purchasing.Doesn't get five stars as I had to contact Gigaset tech support who were not very helpful, didn't read my questions and ended up being somewhat rude (when I pointed out that they hadn't read my emails)

I bought this product to add to my Gigaset C475 base set with one extra phone (which I originally bought in 2008 so it is quite old). I contacted a Siemens adviser to see if it was possible to add on an extra phone and this was one of the models she said would work. I ordered it on Wednesday, received it on Thursday, charged the batteries overnight and plugged it in on Friday. The instructions to register the handset were easy and within two minutes it was up and running. Apparently some of its features may not work with the older base but as I only bought it to be able to hear and answer the phone in the kitchen that’s not really an issue. So I’m very pleased so far and also happy that the phone system still works on fibre cable after Virgin Media upgraded us and sent us an adapter to use.

Difficult to set up despite instructions, eventually rang customer service who assisted with setting up the hand set.. their instructions were not in the handbook!!As this is a new product I have not been able to say if the battery life is good or bad.. time will tell!

Tried one of these in addition to several A690HX units. C430H looks a little smarter and has colour display. Minor downside is the display on the C430A is better resolution, but smaller fonts than the A690HX. Not a problem with good eyesight, but not so easy to see if you need glasses, but are not wearing them....

2014 I bought a set of 2 with an answering machine. After some use one broke down, when I switched the speaker to on. The batteries showed a complete dicharge. It needed recharging and worked again until the next use of speaker. So I bought a replacement online. After some time the other phone showed the same problem and I replaced it 2 years ago. Now the older replacement comes up with the same problem. Every replacement cost about 35(+) pounds.I replaced the accu-batteries with no success. I liked the phones and their performance, not any more as I know now that the average lifespan is only 2 years.

I bought this handset as a replacement for an original handset that had been dropped and broken. It is easy to set up and add to my current base. It has a good clear sound and excellent for using with hands free option (something I need because I am unable to hold a handset without dropping it).

Dieses Mobilteil bestelle ich schon oft hier - da in der Firma öfter eins defekt ist, verlegt wird o.ä. Ist wirklich leicht zu installieren und funktioniert super.

Deutschland schafft sich ab !! Da bestellt man einen Artikel Made in Germany (gemacht in Deutschland ) undwas wird geliefert, ein Gigaset- Universal Handset Englische Ausführung mit Englischem Netzstecker undBetriebsanleitung in Englischer Sprache ! Das einzige deutsche " Gigaset Frankenstr. 2a, D-46395 Bocholt"auf der Verpackung zu lesen. Da kritische Bewertungen das gleiche Problem von anderen Käufern in letzter Zeit von dem Hersteller und Amazon völlig ignoriert wird, kann ich nur sagen " schämt Euch"Armes Deutschland.!! Ich werde den Artikel sofort zurück schicken !

Das Mobilteil ist in Ordnung und passt zu meiner Anlage Bitte um Austausch des Steckers/Ladekabel.MfGWalter Orosz
