If your not growing old gracefully and you don’t want to fork out for a transplant then this is ideal. It provides great coverage an very easy to apply. I would recommend getting a pump for it though for easier application. I know this is just a refill pack but when you buy the initial product you get like a salt shaker applicator which can prove a little tricky. Other than that amazing, for hair thinning.

Right - so my first amazon review. And I am only doing this so that you may learn from my mistakes and adopt a good method for applying. Firstly - my hair is dark brown / black. I ordered the dark brown product first and it was no good. As per previous reviews the product does have a red tinge. I would say that if you dont mind black (and it blends of course) then go for that. The black is a whole different kettle of fish - it actually works very well when applied properly. I've been using Nanogen for years, but when I worked out the approximate spend during this period it was quite horrifying. Hence the desire for a cheaper alternative. This is that alternative and I would actually say its better. I also looked at my hair through mirrors outside in daylight and you seriously cannot tell there is product on the hair - as you may or may not be aware different lighting will show the hair up differently - natural sunlight being the most revealing!. These are my steps for best application. 1. When you apply make sure its in a proper container (like nanogen etc) otherwise you're fighting a losing battle. 2. make sure your hair is dry - if you use regain allow it to dry fully. 3. start sprinkling on scalp in methodical fashion - this comes with practice 4. pat down (essential) - ensure its 'off the surface' and within the body of the hair (well whats remaining!) 5. THEN brush in a steady fashion to style your hair - apply wax / clay to front and side - a little on top if you wish but you'll get black hands! 6. Use a fixing spray - cheap hair spray is ALL you need boom - get on with your day tip - avoid night vision cameras - it see's straight through it as if no product is even applied!!!

The price is really good value. If you haven’t used this before you’re better off getting this stuff in the shaker. It works wonders on building up hair fibres. As long as there are some strands of hair you are able to cover over thin or balding patches to make it look like almost a full head of hair. I use it to cover two little bald spots on my scalp that I got when I banged my head when I was younger. This stuff covers it and you can’t see the patches at all. I used to use the toppik product which is virtually the same but slightly better quality as it doesn’t tend to “clump” into little bits as much as this one. The price though is far better. Highly recomended if you already have a “shaker” pot.

It's alright but it is quite hard to wash out when taking shower and also if you lay on a pillow it will leave a mark

I ordered this product without realising it was a refill. So Il had to re-order the actual box to trying it out. It is good. Happy with the product itself. However I have not opened the refill product as yet till finish the original container to refill it, so no idea as to how or what to commend with regards to the refill itself but the " Hair Genetics as a product is good. I feel confident using it. It covers the bald patch or the thinning area very well.

You're paying less than £10 pounds for 22 grams of the hair building fibres. You basically pay £15 - 20 quid for a 12g of Toppiks which does the exact same thing. People refer to my expertise with this product as "Witchcraft" as I'm heavily balding but this makes it look like I have loads of hair. It's a great product.

I have used several different hair fibre products over the years for my thinning hair. I can say that the hair genetics brand far excels many of the other products. It is easy to apply and gives excellent coverage Thankyou
