The first thing that I did when it came was to test how loud it is. To set it off, you pull out the pin on the top. The light on the side flashes when it is set off. The noise was loud and ear piercing and uncomfortable on the hearing. I’m very pleased with this product and now feel a lot safer.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: how is this charged??**
A: Hello
      The alarm does not have a rechageable battery. It is powered with a PP9 type battery but a PP9 one will
not fit!! The connection will not mate up to the terminal posts!!
The only way to use the alarm is to find a PP9 connecting wire from an old piece of equipment then after removing
the original one solder this one in it's place. I could not find anyone who sold the original battery.

Or ring your local nick and ask to speak with their Crime Prevention officers.

A: Normal 9V battery in both mine. Cheap Chinese one supplied, Duracell should be fine.

Got two and one was more louder and better than the other one. It works well for safety, but never put it close to you because it can damage your ears permenantly.
