KidKraft Majestic Mansion Dollhouse

We purchased the Kidkraft 65252 Majestic Mansion Wooden Dolls House With Furniture And Accessories Included as a Christmas present for our 3 year old granddaughter and she loves it. Never stopped playing with it. The box it arrives in is quite large, with everything flat packed and well packaged, it recommends a 2 person lift on the box, but I was able to lift and move it on my own. It took around 3 hours to build, although I'm fairly ok/good with DIY stuff, and there were a couple of points of the build that required my wife to hold some pieces in place until I had them screwed together. A nice touch of the build is that the heads of the screws are painted to match the colour of the piece they are screwing into, the downside being that since a lot of the screws are the same size and marked with the same letter you'll need to figure out which colour head screw to use based on the panel it's screwing into, or if you're not bothered it will probably save you 10 minutes of build time. All other pieces of the build are clearly labelled and I found the instructions easy to follow. There are also 2 plastic straps that attach to the back of the house that then attach to the wall to prevent the doll's house tipping over. The panels feel of good quality and are printed with the respective room or outside wall they are meant to represent when built and put together. If I was going to be super critical, there is no print on the back of the house, but you're not likely to see that when build as due to the height of the doll's means it is recommended to use the fittings to attach to a secure wall to prevent toppling. There is a good range of house furniture included and when built the house looks great. Our granddaughter is using it with the smaller Chelsea Barbie dolls, but it can also be used with the full size Barbie's.

I literally spent weeks looking at different dolls houses and reviews online before biting the bullet and ordering this one. Initially I was going to go for the barbie dream house but it was so expensive and plastic decided I wanted a more traditional looking and wooden one. And I was not disappointed upon assembly and my 5 year old daughter Christmas morning was ecstatic. This is a big dolls house so make sure you have room , I measured ans measured again. She can't quite see I to the top floor yet but plays with the other floors all the time and I know she will grow into it so will last for years. It is sturdy, well made , colourful, engaging ans comes with lovely furniture and accessories. I highly recommend . It's lovely.

We managed to order this when it was at a reduced price so for us it was great but wouldn't fancy paying full price. The house is great, very big so make sure you have room for it. Love the features of the beautiful stair rails, the lift, garage and the the furniture is lovely too. Lots of play value. We bought this for our granddaughters 4th birthday, she's quite tall and can't reach the nursery level. Putting it together wasn't too bad, we helped my son and it took almost 2 hours. Don't over tighten as may split the wood. All the pieces were fine on arrival, no marks, no pieces missing so that's a bonus. My granddaughter and her older brother have had lots of fun already.

Putting the house together was a challenge but we did get there in the end. Instructions were a bit confusing so used the photos on Amazon to help. Some screws wouldn’t go in but with some alterations worked. It’s a huge doll house and my daughter loves it. Has accessories too and other brand dolls fit in. My daughter will get many years out of it so it is good value compared to other doll houses on the market. It is dog eared in some areas mainly the roof. It doesn’t effect use but I can see it. Overall I’m really pleased with the purchase I would recommend if you have the money and space for it and ability to put it together!

I bought this for my 2 year old. I didn't check the measurements and its huge, but at least she'll grow with it and it doesn't affect her playing now. I set this up in her room whilst she was sleeping and for the last 3 hours since waking, i havent seen her, I've had two cups of coffee in peace! If that doesnt sell it to you, i dont know what else will. Its sturdy, its beautiful and well made. A long process to put together on your own, (my hubby went to bed with a "headache") so grab a friend, even if its just to pass you the correct bits when you need them. Total value for money and hopefully i wont see my daughter for the rest of the day, other than to feed her and wipe her bum! #lockdownsurival

We decided to buy this house for my granddaughters 4th birthday,took my partner around 2 hours to build but all the screws & fixings are colour coded to the part and each section of the house has its own set of fixings in a little blister pack for the bit that your working on which he found very impressive.the details are beautiful,strong and super sturdy and the furniture alone is amazing quality.it’s a beautiful piece of furniture (because it’s so big) for any little girls bedroom and my granddaughter plays with it every day,she loves it! Worth every penny,couldn’t be happier with it 👍🏼

I read the reviews before I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas and I was not disappointed. The dolls house took me about 6 hours to build, purely because I’ve never built anything before. The instructions were very clear and I liked how each part of the house was numbered clearly so that I could follow the instructions. The house in itself is very high quality, a few pieces were slightly damaged in that the pictures are slightly fraying at the edges but hopefully my daughter won’t notice. The added extra of receiving all the wooden furniture is a massive bonus as they look very expensive and are very good value for money. I brought this when it was reduced for £120 & I would of happily paid more as I am very happy with this dolls house & would definitely recommend it to others. Thank you!

My 3 year old loves this house for her barbies. She plays in it almost daily and uses all the different rooms. The furniture that came with it is big enough for her barber and Chelsea dolls, so gives them baths, plays the piano and uses the different rooms all the time. She is fascinated with the lift and each one has their turn using it. The house was not difficult to put up, instructions were very clear and each panel has a number on it so that you know what goes where. The only things I wish I new before was that the screws have different colour heads to blend into the design on the wall. I had to redo the first dozen to get the colours right. It took me a couple of hours to complete the build. She is tall for her age but cannot reach the roof or the loft space in the house yet, so will last for years, as long as she continues to like her dolls.
