I bought two of these and put cute covers on them because I did not want black chair but these were so well reviewed and they only came in black when I ordered, so I went ahead and got them. So glad I did. It is hard to find solid recliners that do not rock and are not filled with electronic elements for heating and massage that I do not want. These chairs are perfect. I don't think they would be comfortable for tall people, but they fit my pudgy gnome body just right. And I was able to get them in the house and put them together all by my little self! lol Which is important to me. I like furniture I can move by myself. I won't lie, there were some curse words uttered during the transport (hefting them up some stairs) and set up, but I got them in and put together in about a half hour so you can't beat that. I will update this review if anything wears poorly, but right now these are my favorite Amazon purchase in ages. Seller shipped fast, too. Also, I have short legs and I have no problem pushing the footrest in with my legs when I sit up.

The absolute best item I have ever bought on Amazon. My living room is all Restoration Hardware and these recliners fit in just perfectly with my black leather sofas. You sink into these super comfy recliners and it feels like heaven. And for the price?…you can’t go wrong. Not bulky, no set up required, just open the box and get ready to be one happy little camper.

I like the coco brown color and it feels comfy but sturdy as well. However, I’m 5’9” and it seems a bit short. The partial recline position the headrest only comes up to the base of my neck and I have to drop my head back a bit to rest it plus my feet and ankles droop over the end of the foot rest. But in full recline my head and neck gain support and only my heels dangle over the foot rest. However, I plan to use this for a movie and console gaming chair in the partial reclined position so I would rather not have my neck supported or else I will start to doze off but could add a small pillow if need be and sometimes I cross my legs or sit with my knees bent so I don’t think the footrest issue will bother me. Other than those minor setbacks, it feels comfortable with its overstuffed base, back, and arms, firm enough for upper and lower back support (time will tell if the cushioning holds up), and is good quality for the price.

The footrest on this chair does not close, the seller says you just have to kick it really hard. Really, you have to kick the hell out of it to get it locked down, that works but even then it will pop open without warning without even touching the chair. This happened the first time I sat in the damn thing. I had my 21 year old son come close down the footrest with his hands so I could get up I did grabbed my empty glass and before I could take a step it popped open and knocked me down, the glass broke and cut my hand in my attempt to catch my fall. Both of my adult sons have tried to close the footrest it takes good strength to get it down, but it rarely stays closed it pops open without warning 9 out 0f 10 times. I am not the only one who has been injured, my dog a 85lb Shepherd walked by the chair and the footrest popped open it scaird him and he jumped and hurt his leg landing on it the wrong way now his leg is swollen and he has a pronounced limp. I have an appt with the vet. The date for delivery was 1/24 it did not arrive until 1/27. I was at the store and got home in the pouring rain and could not even get in my front door, the box 90 lbs was blocking my door. I had to open the box and take it in piece by piece it was all wet, I was dripping, everything had to be dried down, even my hardwood floors and nobody home to help. I am 74 years old, I have a broken piece of a spinal tap left in my spinal column and 2 hips pending replacement surgery. I still hurt. Amazon is going to take it off my bill but the Company who sold it has done nothing. No way in hell am I going to take the time or trouble to return the damn chair, much less incur the expense, they can pay someone to come and remove the damn chair and pay my vet bill. A neighbor suggested put it on offer up for free just come get it. I will warn whoever wants it and get them to sign a release of liability before they take the damn thing. Humm maybe with superbowl coming soon it will work. The company has so far only responded saying I am not kicking it hard enough. It gets worse, I checked online trying to find a web page. I found it with a phone number and a woman's first name to call for help. I called got VM and left a msg in detail of my complaint. I rec'd a call back the same day and the woman was very kind and concerned. Oh my God, she told me the number is her private cell and she does not know or have any affiliation with the Co, she has had 12-15 calls in Jan. VM all complaints about the damn footrest. Can it get any worse? I am the only person she has called back but she was concerned about me and my dog. These chairs are made in Tailand and because of injury I have the right to file a complaint with Consumer Rights and they can be fined and forced to pay damages. I just want to see what they offer and let you folks know be really careful what you buy this company is not reliable. The chairs have a pretty good rating but read thru them, the footrest is not good and a lot of problems. I think mine must be one of the worst.

When i first got this recliner i loved it, it didnt rock which is what i wanted, and the material is beautiful. But now 8 months down the road and my back is killing me. The foam they build it with breaks down quickly, even 2 months into owning it and my elbows were on the support wood inside. Even the seat cushion was starting to buckle after 8 months. Im also taller so the headrest felt like it was pushing my shoulders forward which made my back problems worse. Overall poor quality for longevity. Only giving 3 stars because the surface material is easy to clean, looks good, and did not tear, would not recommend

I am almost 5' tall and it fits me perfectly. I have never figured out before what was so wonderful about why people loved them so much. Well, other than I could put my feet up, big deal. I would practically have to get out to close the chair. I'd get headaches and a stiff neck if I didn' put a bed pillow under my neck. NOW I KNOW THE REASON!!!! I AM IN LOVE WITH MY NEW RECLINER AND I'VE ONLY HAD IT A FEW HOURS!! The reason is that it FITS ME!! My back is full of artheritis. Rain is the worse thing that could happen to me. Me husband put it together fo me a few hours ago. I was miserable because it was raining off and on all day. I sat in my chair and it fit my head, neck, back, and legs PERFECTLY!! It was so comfortabe. My back felt so good. It fit like a glove on me. I had no pain during a nap in a rain storm. I'm almost in tears as I write this. I never knew I could order a beautiful, soft, comfortable chair that would fit me, my two small Yorkies, and the small spot in my cozy corner. I totally recommend this soft cozy chair if you're a smal person.
