Never smoked .so smoking is not always the cause ..so I hope these strips do something **Q: Can I use these for vertical lip lines** A: You can use them for lip lines but I have found a better product called 'smoothies' . They are clear and are self adhesive unlike frownies. They stay on much better and are not easy to see when they are in your face. I get the triangular ones and put them in my lip lines (sleep lines mainly) over night... a big improvement. **Q: Are these patches for women only?** A: There's no reason that frownies can't be used by anyone, either men or women. A bit uncomfortable to sleep in, but they do work, you wake up looking relaxed and wrinkles reduced. Obviously, effect wears off after a few hours, so would need to keep using them. ### ⭐ Do not work *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 22 August 2022* These are a complete waste of money. I read some reviews where people said that they could notice a difference for a few hours after using them, but I noticed no difference. I particularly wanted to use them on the lines between my mouth and nose, & it recommended that the ideal time was to wear them on a night time. The problem is when you stick the patch around this area, you cannot move your mouth, so if you needed to drink anything or just generally overnight, you naturally move your mouth, it does not stay rigid. As soon as you move your mouth the patch comes off. So I never completed a full night with the patch intact. If there were to be any visible difference for a short while after removal then this disappeared by the time I got up! Additionally when I try to use it around my eyes, they irritated my eye and it came out in a mild eczema which disappeared throughout the course of the day after removing the patch. I used frownies for about 3 months to gather change, and if I skip even one night of using them there's a notable difference.
