This wax is better than what the High street waxing companies use – and a lot less painful. I personally have been using this wax for about three months and I’ve found it to be an excellent product and good value for money. I use another brand wax melting pot –I heat this to the correct temperature and test this on my arm first to avoid any burns. Ensure that your skin is ready to wax- please read my FAQ’s below If you are a first time waxed I recommend that you allow your hair to grow to a suitable length for the wax to grab the hairs – if it is longer then trim or shave everywhere and wait three weeks before waxing. It is essential to prep the skin pre waxing and ensure that you haven’t had a hot bath or sauna steam before wax. Topical exfoliants used on the area to be waxed such as Retin-A, Renova, and hydroquinone, oral acne medications such as Accutane, blood-thinning medications, and topical/oral cortisone make the skin more sensitive and increase the likelihood of irritation or other complications. Please check with your doctor if you are unsure whether you should be waxed while on or using a medication. How often should I get my waxing treatment? Every four weeks. Regular waxing is essential. The skin will be less sensitive if waxing is done every 4 weeks. Over time, with regular waxing, the hair follicle will have less and less of a grip on the hair to be pulled and the hairs will come out more easily. Another reason to wax frequently is that you may even experience less hair growth over time. How can I prevent ingrown hairs? For the next 24-48 hours avoid on the waxed areas: • use of exfoliating products (Alpha-Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products, loofahs, scrubs, etc.) • direct sun exposure and tanning beds • creams with fragrance or ingredients that may irritate • deodorant: it results in irritation and clogging of open follicles • wearing tight clothing: results in irritation and inflammation • excessive heat, such as that from hot tubs and saunas. I found this stuff last year and literally cannot use any other wax now! It’s so much easier than the little beads that seem to get everywhere when I home wax and drive me mad! It’s such a good quality wax as well and just does the job without breaking the hair part way down which usually means you have to re-wax patches. Not cheap but a Box lasts a goodly while and because it works you don’t need as much. I use this for my bikini line, eyebrows and under arms. Haven’t tried it on my legs as I shave them, but I’m sure it’s just as good.

A friend recommended this . Was using hit wax in my home country but stopped after moving to UK as I was not sure which brand might be better for my skin with eczema. One pack went for so long - soft to my skin to use - melts easily . It does not burns skin and peels off easily .

This wax is good and has a strong grip, usually don’t need to go over the same areas twice. However one time I had to go over my armpit twice and it burnt my skin, also my skin became darker in the area that got burnt and now hoping it goes back to normal. Similarly, it happened when I waxed my moustache, the area feels like a burn and slightly red. I really like this wax in terms of its strength, however it’s a shame that it irritates the skin when you go over the same area. I had tried this with other brands before and although it’s uncomfortable it never really burnt my skin. I must mention when this happened I did not use pre wax oil, however I noticed that using pre wax oil helps with reducing the likelihood of burning the skin. When used once this wax is perfectly fine and doesn’t irritate the skin, but must be cautious with using it on the same area more than once.

I'd like to start by saying I know what good wax is - and this is most certainly it. I have tried several types of wax until I found this one, and ever since I have been re-purchasing it - it's definitely been the best wax I have ever used, specifically for brazilians. However, if you don't know how to use hot film wax, I would certainly not recommend trying this on a brazilian wax as a first. Experiment with other areas before you go full brazilian unless you are very brave! It is fairly easy to use: you heat the wax up, make sure it's the right consistency to be used - not too liquid/hot so you can roll it around a spatula, but not too solid/cold either. If you are a first time user and you are not sure what the right temperature would be, I would recommend trying this first on your arms to test the temperature. I have been waxing myself for 6 years now and this is the wax I have been using for about 5 of them. TRUST me when I say it's the real deal. There are very little areas for re-do after I've applied once and pulled.I don't just use this for brazilians, it works everywhere, armpits, arms etc. Also a tip for everyone here, I don't use a wax heater - melting the wax on the hob in a sauce pan that you no longer use will be just fine so long as its stainless steel - much cheaper ;) You can extend the life of the wax by a lot by melting it and then straining the hairs away and re-using it. Usually a pack of this wax lasts me at least 5 months by straining it - I am the only person using it so there's no problem health & safety wise.

I’ve never written a review for anything before. But I just had to for this. I have spent my life battling with thick dark body hair. It has held me back in so many situation since my teens. And now 20 years later I’ve found this. This wax is EXCEPTIONAL! And I have tried a LOT. I gave myself a better wax with this, than I’ve had in some salons. There’s no getting around the fact that it’s a bit messy (nothing that can’t be hoovered up after) and if you’re untrained (like me) it’s not a quick treatment. It took me just over an hour to do my whole legs. But 100% worth it. Every single piece of wax I put on removed hair. I was even able to go back in with a tiny dab, get single hairs I’d missed! I was in the bathroom on my own saying “wow” out loud! I can’t tell you what a relief it is to have found a way to get rid of my own hair like this. I haven’t always got the money for a salon waxing, or the access to a salon. Even if you are a complete beginner- you will have success with this wax. I will never use another wax again. Amazing product!

I've been waxing for about a year now, up until yesterday I used a different brand of hard wax. I was unsure whether to change but thought I'd try. My previous wax kept going too hard and breaking and was having to use fabric strips with it to RIP off. To start with it melted quickly in my wax warmer, had a nice consistency. I put a bit of wax on and automatically went for the fabric strips but found out the wax didnt stick to the fabric. Due to not bring able to rip it off it left some hair.. so I tried without strips... I put some more wax on, waited a very short time and pulled the wax off... all the wax came off, didn't break and removed 99% of hairs. It was still flexible and didnt sem to hurt as much as my previous wax. Think I may just have found my new wax.
