Just got it. Reconstituted it with some water. Took hardly any time at all to moisten. Cat went absolutely batty crazy for it. I lined it up with two different other freeze-dried cat foods and he didn't even bother to smell them even though one was reconstituted also. He dove into this, licked his plate clean, and asked for more. So for this review purposes I will say that he loved the texture while reconstituted, obviously with over 90% protein it's a good deal, and the bites are so small that they're not really breakable. Since it's the first time giving it to him, I'm going to go slowly. He may turn his nose up at his canned food after this, but I think I will mix it in with his canned food because I think he needs the extra vitamins and nutrition that comes with a well-balanced food from a reputable company. According to his foster, he was fed a lot of raw food, and I've had him two months now. I put him on Purina One grain-free wet food and Science Diet kibble, And he'll eat both. However, he's never dived into his food the way he dived into this stuff! So I've just bought a larger bag to see how long it lasts. And then it probably will be on my subscribe and save list!! 🤣

My 13 yr old male cat can not have carbs so I have been buying freeze dried chicken for years. Every pkg contains 1/3 crumbs and very dark, greasy pieces. The pet stores are always out and we started buying the dog size and cutting them since they are still chicken just larger. We took a chance on this brand. I can't tell you how much both of my cats LOVE them. I'm beginning to wonder if they have added an addictive drug to them, lol. They do tricks before bed and they are anxiously waiting an hour before bedtime. They cry for these treats! The size is perfect for a cat and each square is the same, not jagged, dried chunks. The bag has a window and I don't see any broken crumbs...a first! I have never seen my cats so desperate for a treat, even fish ones. No more cutting, no more greasy dark ones and no more waste. The 'kids' say, Thanks!!

Cat is obsessed….Obsessed. Unless you want to move from getting love from your cat to bribing your cat in order to get love, then stay away. My cat knows where they are located, knows the sounds of the cabinet door, and knows if he stares at the cabinet long enough that we will give in. Buy at your own risk.

My cats love freeze dried chicken and turkey. I have found that consistency and pricing are the 2 biggest problems I encounter when purchasing freeze dried chicken/turkey from Amazon. I have found that my very first orders from any particular seller on Amazon will be pleasant and the product will be acceptable. After that initial purchase, I started seeing the quality just disappear and the prices skyrocket. Widely recognized and reputable Brands like Stewart’s, Amazon’s WAG, etc. no longer provide a consistent service at an affordable cost. $15 for 3 ounces of freeze dried chicken crumbs and dust is absolutely insane! Never again. I would love to purchase a USA based product but as long as China can keep proving to me that they can provide me with a quality, single ingredient product like this, when the others simply can’t, or won’t, I will never give another American based company a single cent until they can match that. Look, I literally got 4 times the amount of product compared to any other seller on Amazon, for half the price. It’s a win-win for everyone. Well except maybe the American companies who keep having up their prices while simultaneously cutting down on quality that will soon find themselves with a lot of product on their shelves.

DO NOT BUY. give my dog stomach problem. size is too uniform. color is too white. not pure chicken meat.
