How do i know lazer is center?

Lay a magazine down flat on a table and place the laser in the magazine side groove. Point the laser at the wall, ideally 25m away but as far as the room allows. Rotate the laser in the magazine groove while observing the point on the wall. If the point remains constant the laser is center.

Do you close the bolt on this to secure it in the barrel when sighting?

Yes, but close it gently so that the sight is securely in place.

Can this laser aim point be adjusted or calibrated?

Yes, it can. It has adjustment screws. You will need a lathe or floor drill press with a straight quill. Turn it on and clamp it in the chuck, then slowly by hand, rotate the chuck. If it is aligned correctly, the laser point will not move. If it goes in a circle, it is not aligned. Adjust the setscrews until the laser dot does not move when the chuck is rotated. Do NOT turn the drill or lathe on! The further away you can set the laser dot, the more accurately you can align it. You cannot align it while it is in your firearm.

Why does it say “9mm rem gauge” ?? Is it for 9mm caliber pistols or for a shotgun?

It is for 9mm Parabellum ( 9x19mm). Works great.
