Great set for Thunderbird fans
Great set for Thunderbird fans. Bought for my heavy handed 5 year old several months ago and nothing has broken off. The only bit that shows a little of the use it has had is the legs on Thunderbird 2 which have buckled slightly.

My boys age 3 and six love these, great toys and pretty durable considering they have been launched several times from a height. Dispatch from seller was prompt, though there was a issue with the courier and they arrived later than initially stated but just in time for required date

Good toys but watch out for Thunderbird 3
You probably know all this but here are a few details:Thunderbird 1 - twist the base to make the wings come out. Has a button to make TB1 sounds.Thunderbird 2 - Wings fold up and down. 2 buttons to make the legs spring down (you have to manually fold them up). One button to make the container drop out of the bottom. 1 button to make TB2/4 sounds.Thunderbird 3 - Twist the grey bit in the middle to make TB3 sounds. Press the base to make the grapple arms spring out (you have to manually fold them back in). You can also (manually) fold the end of the grapple arms out to make them a bit longer.Thunderbird 4 - Painted bit of plastic - no sounds. Fits inside the container in TB2Batteries were pre-installed in TB1, 2 and 3.Bought this for my son's 5th birthday and he absolutely loves them. However, as some other reviewers have discovered, after less than a day of very light play, 2 of Thunderbird 3's arms lost their spring. In fairness to Vivid Imaginations, when I phoned them they sent a replacement which, touch wood, is still working fine.

Questionable quality, overpriced but the kids love them
Ok, there is a lot of comments about the quality of these vehicles, most of them are correct.Bought these to go with Tracy Island and in case anyone is wondering, they fit just right.Thunderbird 1 - probably the sturdiest of the pack. You twist the bottom to make the wings 'extend'.Thunderbird 2 - Everyone knows that Thunderbird 2 is the best Thunderbird. Weak points are the side fins and the legs. Yes, the legs will not take much abuse but I remember the old Dinky version (because im old!) and the legs were dreadful on that model too!Thunderbird 3 - Probably the worst of the lot. Soon as my son took it out of the pack one of the side 'legs' detached. As mentioned by another reviewer, Superglue is good for fixing this. Of course, the question is why should you have to superglue something that you have just spent £30 plus on is another issue. Having said that, its done the job. Will they be in one piece in 6 months? Hmm, probably not.But at the end of the day, they are not for me and both of my sons absolutely love them.

still happy with this purchase after 1year
bought this a year ago, Dec15 for my then 3 year old boy. Yes looked a bit flimsy, and for older kids, but surprisingly in spite the usual destructive nature of him and his two year old younger brother nothing looks broken yet. Considering how much other branded products cost, and how cheap they sometimes look, thought this is a good deal in my eyes.

My son's favourite Christmas present
Since starting school in September, my son has become a huge Thunderbirds fan. We bought him Tracy Island for Christmas, along with this set of vehicles. The vehicles would be a good present on their own but there is no point in having Tracy Island unless you have these vehicles which fit in it. They seem relatively well made (although as per other comments, the legs on Thunderbird 2 seem flimsy although they're still in tact after hours and hours of play). There are plenty of extra functions - sounds, moving parts etc. Without doubt, this and Tracy Island combined was my son's favourite Christmas present - and I can see it being the go-to toy when friends are round for a long time to come.

Thunderbird vehicles
Great buy my four year old grandson loves them with realistic sounds and original voice, movable parts to all the vehicles except thunderbird four (understandable as it fits neatly into thunderbird twos cargo bay ) very realistic. Overall a great buy

Awful customer service by amazon
Whilst the toy itself is perfect and my Son loves it, that snonly gets 1 star as thunderbird 1 doesn't work properly. The button only does anything sporadically at best, despite replacing the batteries. Unable that get a replacement only send it back for a refund, which I couldn't even start to explain to a 4yr old.Good product (the working bits), awful customer service by amazon
