Would it fit in bath?

It depends on the width of your bath it will fit in a standard size bath but not in a P shaped bath

On which side of the Basin is the drainage hole, as you are looking at it from the front ?

HiThe drainage pipe would be on the right if you are looking at it in front of you.This basin was the best thing we ever bought to wash my mams hair whilst she was bed ridden.she could not sit up at all and this basin made washing her hair so easy. The only way i could manage to use it was with the help of a second person. Absolutely well worth the money in my opinion.

Can you drain the basin without the drainage tube. can you just pull open the plug and let the water out.

That would not be easy as the basin would be standing at the top of the bed when using shampoo there, there would be a collection of water in container after rinsing , the tube would hang down side of bed and a small basin would collect any water that was in the bath after the plug is pulled. It works well. Hope this helps
