Comfortable and water tight
Used now for several months in all weather condition walking the dog and so far have had no issues seem water tight only grip laces did not last very long. Comfortable from the start, good suport, light weight, good grip and appear well made. Great value for the money.

Simply brilliant
I've tried a lot of boots, at all price levels, and I begrudge spending over a hundred for every day boots, hence trying these.......... Yes they are built to a price, but I've been wearing them for casual walking around for 3 months and I can only say for the money these are brilliant, the fit is nice and wide, they are super comfortable, the bed is a bit thin but it doesn't affect the comfort for me. They're not showing signs of wear, I've got them soaking and they didn't leak. For low level path walking these are ideal. If they fell apart tomorrow I'd buy another pair which says it all.

Great Shoe, Good Price, Good Service, shame about the laces
Great Walking Boots for a reasonable price and delivered the following day without Prime, the only let down was that one lace snapped within four days of purcahse of the shoes, more a lace manufacture issue than the main product, but you still expect laces to last more than four days of very occasional wear that are supplied with the product itself. Otherwise a great boot (and so far waterproof) and the supply was also very good.

Good value.
Very good. Nice and comfy. Please note that you will have your waterproof them periodically which is to be expected. I do mine about 3 times a year.

๐๐๐๐ Great Value Hiking Shoes with a Few Limitations
๐๐๐๐ Great Value Hiking Shoes with a Few Limitations Iโve been using the Karrimor Bodmin Low IV Weathertite Hiking Shoes for a while now, and overall, theyโre a solid choice for casual hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. ๐ Pros: โ Comfortable Fit โ The shoes feel great right out of the box, with decent arch support and padding for long walks. โ Good Grip โ The rubber sole provides reliable traction on most terrains, including wet and uneven surfaces. โ Weather-Resistant โ The Weathertite technology does a good job keeping my feet dry in light rain and damp conditions. โ Affordable Price โ Compared to premium hiking brands, these offer excellent value for the money. ๐ Cons: โ Breathability Could Be Better โ Since they are water-resistant, they tend to trap heat, making them less ideal for hot weather. โ Durability Concerns โ While they hold up well for casual use, the outer material (leather & mesh) shows signs of wear quicker than expected. โ Sizing Runs a Bit Small โ Iโd recommend ordering a half size up for a better fit, especially if wearing thick hiking socks. ๐ Final Verdict: A comfortable and budget-friendly option for light to moderate hiking. Theyโre not the most durable or breathable, but for the price, theyโre a great choice for occasional hikers. 4/5 stars! โญโญโญโญ

Amazing VFM
My previous Karrimore shoes were the Mount Low version and have lasted me over 10 years of significant use. These Bodmin IV versions seem to be very similar, although not identical, and are a very good fit and comfortable. Slightly cheaper than the Mount Low but still Weathertite tech and easily as good feel to them when walking trails. Still early days but it looks like a winner. On a cautious note, I also ordered a pair of Karrimore Supa 5 trail shoes as they looked to be another good buy, slightly cheaper (about ยฃ7), but lighter weight. I ordered these in the exact same size (10) as the Bodmin IV above (also the same as my old Mount Low shoes). However, when these arrived There was a definite difference in the fit and comparing the two new styles directly by placing one of each sole to sole, I would estimate there is at least a half size shorter on the Supa 5 and it could very well be a full size down. I have persevered with them only because I wanted the lighter shoes for cycling and I can wear a trainer liner with them, rather than thicker walking socks, and I find I am getting away (just) with this. I have double checked both sets of shoes and they are both correctly labelled on the box and tongue of the shoes as UK 10. I STRONGLY advise anyone reading this and considering purchase, to move up a half size on the Supa 5 style. Bodmin IV are fine and sized correctly in my opinion. This may just be a batch issue, or it could be a style problem. I did note that the Supa 5 has a lower profile toe cap design, which is very difficult to determine from the pictures unless you are comparing them together on screen. On of the drawbacks of online purchases, I'm afraid!...

Good product at a good price.
Having been walking, trekking and mountaineering all over the world, I have used lots of different footwear. These are my 3rd pair of Karrimor Bodmin low walking shoes. I have found these to be very light but also hard wearing and comfortable. They usually last me about 18 months before the heel wears through. During that time though they are used almost daily from local walks on tarmac paths for about an hour right up to full mountain climbs over a whole day. I would say that they are not waterproof but weather resistant. If you must have full waterproofing then you need to pay more than these cost. I would not like to wear them in England in a wet winter for example but in Austria where I now live and the climate is much drier, then they are ideal. I have even worn them in shallow snow. The only small problem I have encountered is that to start with, the removable insole remains firmly stuck in the shoe and is comfortable. However with wear, the insole becomes unstuck. Eventually I have had to remove it and then wear two pairs of socks. I always order one size up from my normal shoe size. Overall I think these are great value for the price.

Comfortable Insoles and these need breaking in
Stiff, they need breaking in and the shoes were dusty but nothing i could not handle. Just threw on a hazmat suit and ppp to unbox them. A wee bit on the large side for a 10 so thick socks will be required. Not sure if theses artificial rubber soles will be up to all the walking. First Impressions 4 Stars.
