Nikon D5600 + AF-S 18-140 VR DSLR Camera - Black

So I brought this for myself and a friend as we were interested in doing amateur photography. Must say this is an very good camera it might not have all the whistles and bells of the more expensive model but it takes amazing photos and is easy to use. The kit lens is rather good, I know there is slot of negative stigma about kit lens but we found it did the job and did it well. The camera itself is easy to use and user driend, you can however turn it to manual mode and this is where the magic or horror can happen. It takes awhile to get use to all the manual setting but once u do, the camera gives us more freedom then automatic. That's not to say that it doesn't work magically in auto mode because it does. Now the cons I turn on the airplane mode when I'm not using it because it keeps Bluetooth on and I feel it drains the battery, like all DSLR cameras it can get heavy with the lens on. I had upgraded from a D5100 and decided to go a few models up to this. It's largely similar and meant I could use my lenses, including trying out the AF-P lens. The camera is simple to use and helps create some great photos, having the versatility to let you change settings. The lens itself is quick and creates some lovely photos, just a tad soft for me compared to my prime lenses. All in all, a good purchase and a great kit lens compared to the other 18-55mm lenses.

Brilliant camera not used in anger yet but test photos crisp focus, good battery life and great value for money superb lens can't fault nikon quality.

Very happy with this. The Auto settings are very good including the auto focus, such that it would be very easy to be lazy and not experiment with manual effects. The anti-shake on the lens also works well. I bought this because it's (relatively) easy to use for amateurs like me, but capable of producing professional quality pictures if I take it slow and steady! The sensor is not full scale but allows an image resolution to achieve that upto small poster size.

I love this camera very much, it is amazing, the pictures are great, the videos are amazing. When it came to transferring my pictures and videos into my laptop I realised I can only do it if I transfer them to a smart device first (i.e. my phone, which USB cable doesn't match the camera btw), process that I found a waste of time, considering I didn't have the time to waste. Without this little flaw, overall, the camera is great.

I am still in the early processes of getting to grips with this new camera. So far the quality of the photos is superb. Lots of new menu's to get used too. it is smaller and lighter than my other Nikon DLSR and will be ideal for travelling.

I read reviews on this camera before I bought it, I did my homework. I don't know what the difference was between what I got and what other people were reviewing but the reviews rated the camera and a couple mentioned how little chromatic aberration there was. Just look at the pictures, the fringing/colour separation was so bad that the latest Adobe Photoshop Chromatic Aberration tool couldn't get rid of it. Never have I seen this before. I am an experienced photographer, some fringing can happen on edges, and is easily removed, but this is something else! I have a D3200, a D7100 and a D800. All my kit is Nikon and I am genuinely shocked how bad this is. I really hope that this was a dodgy camera with a fault and not that this model is that terrible. I'm not willing to take the risk at this price, it's being returned. The first two pictures are AFTER using the chromatic Aberration tool in the latest Adobe Photoshop, the second two are straight from the camera.

Wanted to take my first DSLR camera was confused on which to buy. After lot of research found that this one was the best if you are plannig to start photgraphy or an intermediate photographer. Comes with standard lense but u can buy prime lens to add to you lens set. I must say i am very happy with the camera. Battery life is very good last atleast for 800 photos. SnapBridge app is temperamental but all together a good camera Delivery was on time

Fantástica en todo, por precio, por prestaciones. Un consejo si quereis fotos de muy buena calidad, los objetivos mejor comprarlos aparte. El 18-55 de kit es lo que es, lo justo para iniciarse. Embalaje perfecto. El manual no viene incluido, hay que descargarlo de la pagina oficial de Nikon. - Lo primero que hay que hacer es actualizar el firmware de la cámara descargándolo de la página de Nikon siguiendo los pasos que indican para hacerlo correctamente. Con la última actualización de firmware el Wi-Fi va de lujo y muy rápido. Merece la pena gastarse dinero en un buen objetivo y ahorrate si puedes el de kit. Me acabo de comprar el 35mm DX f/1.8 por luminosidad para fotos de eventos y en fotografía tiene mucha mas calidad que el de kit. Edito de nuevo: Según han ido actualizando el firmware han mejorado lo peor que tenía al principio, la conexión wifi y Bluetooth. Actualizadlo siempre que podais descargando el firmware de la página de Nikon. Cada día más seguro de haber acertado con la compra.

La compré para entrar a este mundo de la fotografía y hacerlo como un hobby. La verdad el objetivo Kit 18-140 es rápido, silencioso, tiene muy buena calidad. La cámara en general es ligera, pequeña como para llevarla a todos lados y en general muy completa para este segmento. El artículo me llegó una semana después pero el vendedor siempre estuvo al pendiente del envío. Todo llegó en perfectas condiciones y muy bien empaquetado. Buena compra!

Echo de menos que la correa sea un poco mas larga, pero claro, mido 1'80, entonces... Quizás un poco complicada para principiantes. La única pega: PORQUÉ DEMONIOS NO VIENE EL MANUAL DE USUARIO EN ESPAÑOL?

Una cámara perfecta para iniciarse en el mundo de la fotografía. Es cómoda, ergonómica y de fácil agarre; también es sólida y liviana. La pantalla LCD táctil presenta buena calidad en los colores, las imágenes se ven nítidas y lo mejor de todo es su flexibilidad (articulada y giratoria). Mediante el modo LiveView (vista a través de la pantalla) puedes hacer ajustes y enfocar para tomar fotos. Es muy versátil y presenta varias funciones para experimentar, entre ellas: Distintos modos de escena (desde paisajes hasta retratos). Efectos especiales (ilustración fotográfica, visión nocturna, etc.). En velocidad de obturación y diafragma tiene los modos P, S, A, M. Grabación de videos en 1080p, incluyendo time-lapse, y edición de videos (recorte y selección de fotograma). Retoque de fotos (monocromo, color selectivo…). Con la aplicación gratuita de Nikon, Snapbridge, puedes pasar fotos al móvil (en mi caso: iPhone) activando la opción Wi-Fi en la cámara, teniendo opción de transferirlas a 2 MP o en su resolución original; además, puedes emplear el móvil como disparador remoto. Aparte de esta app también descargué la app de Nikon “ManualViewer2” para tener el manual de usuario al alcance. Lo único negativo que le encontré fue que la batería vino totalmente descargada, por lo que tuve que esperar aproximadamente como una hora para poder probar la cámara. La calidad de las fotos es impresionante haciendo ella sola el trabajo (cabe destacar que no soy fotógrafo profesional) y que todas las fotos que aquí muestro fueron tomadas con un AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR, con autofoco y estabilizador de imagen, en modo automático; sin el uso de trípode. Estoy contento con la compra; pero ante cualquier problema, que espero que no, actualizaré este comentario que espero les haya sido útil.
