Safety and security. Like the alarm system. Very loud.

Bought this after a spate of burglaries in my area. It is so simple, but very effective, and very cheap. It gives off a very loud shriek when the handle is moved, which would put anyone off. Very happy with this product, and I feel much safer with it.

It’s an effective device that you fit to the door handles. Easy to set up and use. The only issue I’ve had is false alarms due to strong winds moving the device through the keyhole but generally very good. If someone attempts to open the door they’ll get a fright!

We run a holiday let and health & safety dictates all doors exiting the property must be keyless - so people can get out at any moment. We were concerned about our guests who have dementia or young children who may decide to explore alone. We bought 2 of these for the bedroom area (it's a bungalow) and ask guests if they would like to use them. The sensitivity levels are good - the highest sounded the alarm when my hand was a couple of mm away. The alarm is loud! These are easy to add or remove to door handles, and very simple to switch on and off, and to adjust the sensitivity. I didn't test how well they work if someone trys to pull the handle from outside - I will test that at some point as I guess that's what most people want them for.

Was good until it stopped working! Changed the batteries twice. Please help. I would like a replacement.

Hi Guys, this is such a great product, simple and cost effective but most of all peace of mind. Last one at night places on the door and once you touch it or the door handle it will go off or indeed any time of day if you are worried about escaping The six seconds is ok as no matter what even if your person gets to step outside you are alerted in time.

Took delivery very recently. I read some reviews with regard to the batteries, so decided to immediately change them for Duracell. So far so good. Having done so, I found the screw to secure the battery cover had no fixing. I could hear the nut rattling around in the unit. Presumably caused by either a poor "captive nut" or just poor design. My cover is now "secured" with sellotape! Not impressed. UPDATE: Just. noticed another buyer with the same problem! Decided to bin mine now, the "nut" is moving freely around the unit and I fear it may "short out" when in use. I bought the Sabre version from Amazon, very much better arrangement for changing the battery and same price!

I wanted a product that could alert me instantly if anyone tried breaking into my house, recently there was an incident on my road where a gang of men carrying weapons tried breaking into a house. The door defender hangs on my UPVC door handle. It has various sensitivity levels at which it can set. I have only needed to try the lowest level 1, as soon as I am within about a hands width away from the door defender when it’s armed, it goes off. I don’t even need to touch the door handle for it to go off. The alarm is loud but not as loud as say an outdoor alarm. It has a small red light that shows the device is armed. I suspect my neighbours across the road couldn’t hear it but next door could. I feel more comfortable knowing that if someone did try breaking in at night, I would hear the alarm. I now have these on all my outside doors.

Eigentlich ein super Produkt! - laut, einfach anzubringen, - funktioniert hervorragend! - Eigentlich.... - da es in meinen Augen ein großes Manko gibt!- er lässt sich nicht ausschalten ohne Alarm auszulösen! Der Alarm wird angebracht, schaltet man ihn ein, so hat man 6 Sekunden Zeit um sich auf mehrere centimeter zu entfernen. Danach ist der Alarm aktiv. Nähert man sich nun dem Alarm auf wenige Zentimeter (jemand versucht die Türklinke auch nur anzufassen(auch von außen) ) geht der Alarm los! - eigentlich super.. aber abschalten geht eben auch nur indem man ihn anfasst und somit löst man immer dabei Alarm aus!

Diese Alarm tuer griff ist leider nicht ok Knopf lässt sich nicht verstellen und spring viel zu spät an werde ich zurück schicken

Der Türalarm geht bereits los, wenn man ihn einschaltet! So sollte das nicht sein.
