Nice instrument and case. I bought this for my grandson to use in his first band class. We had the choice of renting one and buying one. Buying this sax was not much more than the cost of renting one that you would have to torn back in. It came with a nice case which was a bonus.

The media could not be loaded. Im not a professional I brought it as a gift to my brother and I am very amazed! I was skeptical of buying an instrument from amazon. I underestimated it; it sounds very nice and everything came in tact nothing was broken or damaged, it was safely packaged, and I can’t recommend it enough. For a cheap price your getting a very good deal.

This is absolutely great!!!! I was really worried about ordering it since it is much cheaper than the other higher name brand ones. i was sure something would be wrong, it would be too small, etc. When I got it, it was PERFECT!!! I wish the case was better and more sturdy though but my personal preference. I also had to order a new mouthpiece and ligature because the ligature that came with this saxophone was bent so that was unfortunate. Of course I recommend buying stronger reeds, that is what I did but it does come with 10! so that is really nice. I would also recommend buying a new neck strap because the one that comes with it is just the strap itself - there is no padding what so ever. I expected this so I already ordered a nice strap with my order of the saxophone. It came VERY quickly which I was super excited about because I wanted to play right away!! Overall I am super happy about my purchase, especially because it was MUCH cheaper than other saxophones but it is just as beautiful, just as perfect, and just as professional as the other ones I have played (Yamaha, king, etc)! DEFINITELY recommend if you want to save some $$

For the price, this was a great saxophone to buy for my 5th grader who expressed an interest in learning the instrument. It was cheaper than renting, and she enjoyed playing it for around a year and a half. However, after that time, the sax started making a weird squeaking sound. We took it to a music shop to repair, but they were not able to fix it. So understand that this is a disposable item, not a quality piece that you'll be able to use for years and years. It served its purpose and got my child through elementary school. Now that they're about to start middle school, they are considering switching to tenor sax, so we may buy another cheap version to repair the broken one so they'll have something to play for end of year concerts and possibly middle school band (if they want to switch between bass and tenor from time to time).

It's the perfect saxophone for beginners to intermediate, I am a junior in highschool band and I play many instruments. This saxophone has a great sound quality, especially in the lower register. As for the reeds the are 2½, and there are 11 total, 1 comes already put in the mouth piece, and the other 10 are sealed in a box. I would say you might have to adjust your mouthpiece a little further down then normal but that not an issue really. The only thing I could honestly think of as a critique is a better neck strap, it has no padding but it is bearable. It came with everything the package says.
