These are really excellent scissors. I started dead-ending my own hair to save money, and also because the regular lecture from the hairdresser about bleaching my hair at home was starting to get a bit wearing. If they'd do my roots for the price of a box dye I'd love to have it done at a salon...Anyway, home trims seemed like the way to go. At first I used my dressmaking scissors but I thought I'd invest in these for a neater result. They're great, I get a good, clean line with these and no straggly missed bits. They cut my hair straight and crisply and are comfy and easy to grip. Do be careful though, I made the mistake of thinking the blunted ends wouldn't cut my fingers but they did, I took a small chunk out of one finger by being careless. The scissors are safe, it was my own mistake, but be aware that the blunt ends can still nick the skin and be more careful than I was. Apart from the small mishap, I'm pleased with my hair trim, it looks neat and feels better for losing the split ends.

Scissors not bad

They are sharp and cut hair well. I use these for my own hair, head and below. Perhaps not as sharp as actual salon scissors, but you get what you pay for and for the price they work very well.

I'm no expert on hairdressing scissors but these seem very good to me for the price. The quality seems to be fine, they're sharp and they do the job. Professional hairdressing scissors can cost a fortune so I imagine you get what you pay for to some extent, and these may dull faster and not last as long as more premium products, but I think for the price they're very good value.

Bought these for my girlfriend who is a hairdresser, simply because they had good reviews and are cheap. She immediately fell in love with them and said how nice they feel to use. Unfortunately they fell apart after a few weeks of being used in a salon. I guess they are great for not constant use but probably arent up to heavy daily use like she gave them. Still, would probably buy again given the price.

This is a 1* rating disguised as 5 * because you should know how useless these are! I should always read the 1* reviews first. I didn't and wasted £8.99 on a useless purchase. These cut paper and one or two hairs at a time, but they do not 'cut hair'. Blunt as a rubber ball and far less useful! I don't know if the rave reviewers were just lucky or whether there is something else afoot, but I am not the only one to have received a dud product. Okay, it's only £8.99 but it's MY £8.99 and I resent being conned!

Probably, like many others on here, needed to try and “do something” with my hair. I looked for a reasonable priced pair of hairdressers scissors.Saw these, saw the first few reviews that amazon shows, and thought they’ll do.They arrived today, and less than impressed is an understatement.I quickly went back to amazon page to check these were the same ones I’d ordered, then I looked up newest reviews instead...wish I’d done this before I ordered.Most give 1 star rating...just as I have done.Its all already been said in the last few reviews, these are pretty useless.Not sharp, feel cheap, not even sure they are not second hand...pretty much rubbish really. I, like others, probably won’t be getting a refund, as I am at risk group I will not be going out to return these by post. So basically waisted my money.Amazon need to take a good look at reviews before they continue to allow people to “fleece” customers of their money. Unfortunately at this moment in time, Amazon customer service is as bad as these scissors.Nobody working at Amazon, except for live chat...and that has already proved to be a waste of my time.

I bought these scissors as I have short hair which has obviously not been cut since before the lockdown therefore abit of DIY is needed. I did not want to pay too much for some but didn't want cheap rubbish that would hack at my hair. I am very very pleased with these, they arrived 2 days after I ordered them, they are very easy to hold and very sharp. Great for the price and will definitely use them in between my normal cuts if needed.

Cortan a la perfección , aunque no las utilizo para cortar el pelo, es para cortar las vendas de Kinesiotape, ya que soy fisio u las mejores para eso son las de sortear el pelo . Muy bonita y manejable .

No es la mejor calidad en tijeras pero con su precio no puede exigírsele más porque para las veces que se usa cumple las expectativas de largo.

Cortan muy bien

Perfectas para uso personal. Me han gustado mucho. Las recomiendo. Ya no tendré que visitar la peluquería, y que me cobren un pastizal por cortarme las puntas!
