Update to my previous review
The remote was really good, exactly what I wanted. the only issue that I had was that on the advert it said that there would be 2 batteries included but there wasn't when it arrived. The 2 batteries were very prominent in the advert and I didn't click on the details where it did say there were no batteries included. so the advert was a bit confusing and not very clear. apart from that the remote worked perfectly and I am very happy with it.

Works straight out of the box
Worked straight out if the box for everything but the volume control watched a short video on YouTube to learn how to program it to work the volume now all working perfectly

100% does the job
I bought the remote as a replacement for my original remote for my Tivo box. To be honest, although it was described as 100% genuine, for the price I was a bit doubtful and expected a lighweight, cheap version. How wrong could I be? It is exactly the same as my original remote i.e. size, weight, layout of buttons and has Virgin logo so I am satisfied that it is a genuine Virgin product. It worked straight away and I would definitely recommend it as a replacement. One very satisfied customer! A quick update.....I hadn't realised that the mute and volume functions didn't work as I always used a separate tv remote for this, however I discovered this as I was scrolling through some past reviews and some of them included instructions on how to get the functions working. Followed the instructions and hey presto, mute and volume functions now work and very easy to do.

One star is the lowest unfortunately
One star is the lowest unfortunately - zero stars would have been more appropriate. Product Quality very poor - remote didnt work fully - volume buttons didnt work. Returned it and waited weeks for a refund only to get a refund for the item only and not the cost that i paid for the return postage (still waiting on my £10+ royal mail refund from the supplier). On reading the reviews others have had similar quality issues with the remote.

Item is very scratched and worn but does work. It was supposed to have batteries included but these were missing
