Gehwol 75ml Foot Cream, Strengthens Skin to Prevent Blisters

This stuff saved my feet when I was marathon training. I stumbled on it later than I'd have liked and I already had blisters. It never fully stopped them but once I started using it they healed quickly and it prevented them becoming a problem. I didn't have to use blister plasters once after this which was massively beneficial.Slather it on in the morning then put socks on (before bed too if it's bad) and put some on before you're going out on a run and it seems to work miracles. It's thick and not designed to absorb in quickly so you get a good coating of it - can't walk around barefoot with it on. It washes out of socks fine though.Tube is a good size, lasted me a couple of months and saved buying loads more blister plasters so I think it represents good value for money.

This is a god send. I always suffer blisters after 10-15 miles. And go for 7/8 days at a time. This cream on my soles and toes combined with kinesiology tape on my heels means I don’t even give my feet a second thought. I just get to walk. Pain free! Clinical smell but not unpleasant, great value as a little goes a long way. Can’t walk longer hikes without it now. Highly recommended.

This has been a game-changer for me. Used daily on the Camino and before long walks, it strengthens the skin and genuinely helps prevent blisters and rubbing. I noticed the difference within a few outings - no hot spots on the heels or toes, even with new boots.erfect for hiking, running or city miles - pop it in the rucksack and you’re sorted. Highly recommended.

WOW! The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because I have only had this cream for one day so far. I'll give it the 5th star once I've used it repeatedly and can give a more experienced view. Until then, this is my first impression of the cream:In my free time, I occasionally am a Runner in TV. Anyone who has worked on sets will know that depending on the show you can have insane hours on your feet. This weekend I spent 17 hours on Saturday on my feet and 14 hours on Sunday. Needless to say, my feet were not happy. Three days later and back at a desk, although my feet were not in as much pain, I was acutely aware of them. I decided to buy this on Prime and it has arrived this morning. I immediately put the cream on and, don't ask me how this works, but my feet are totally happy and pain-free. It's like it has erased my feet's memory from the weekend. I can't wait to try it in a few days time on my next shoot. In terms of blisters, I didn't buy the cream for that. But for pain relief it really does help!

I walked the Yorkshire 3 peaks a few weeks ago and applied this to my feet on the morning of the walk - the weather was dire and despite having waterproof boots, water came over the top of them and soaked my feet - cue walking a further 10 miles with drenched feet! This cream saved me, the barrier it creates to protect your feet against blisters no matter what the situation is incredible - after hiking 26 miles and 3 mountains, I did not have one single blister by the end and my feet felt surprisingly fresh. Yes I had decent boots and socks which are a given but I’m certain had I not used this cream I would have been in a whole world of pain! Since the walk I’ve also used the cream on my feet prior to long distance runs and it’s works a treat, particularly if applied to known hotspots. I can’t recommend it enough!

As someone who is on their feet a lot, walking easily 5+ miles a day I can testify that this alleviates virtually all every day foot related issues.I have tried all kinds of solutions and creams in the past and to be honest most had little results rather than just numbing the area for a short while.I have used this to treat blisters, rashes, cuts from toe nails and friction burns and every time it has delivered superb results. With frequent useage it really does toughen the skin. I applied it regularly to my heels and the pads of my feet as they get a lot of abuse and after doing so the skin in these areas definitely seems to be thicker and I get much less issues.In the case of blisters and rashes applying it before you go to bed often resulted in a massive reduction in size and or soreness by the time I had awoken the next day. If you do have to go out with a foot issue, if you simply apply a decent layer of this cream before putting on your socks/shoes it really does help to protect the area and minimise discomfort.This really is my go to for anything foot related, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It isn't cheap but the results it provides are worth every penny!
