I've listened to podcasts and music I know well and it all sounds correct. I also think they look nice too - very smart. They don't block sound out at all, but that's good if you don't want to miss the 'phone or doorbell ringing. The cable is about 120cm long. The only real downside is they do press against the ears a little bit, so I adjust them every 15 minutes or so to change the pressure points on my ears, but I am quite sensitive to things pressing on my ears.
