Are these any better as bought a pair 2 years ago and both have broken!!

They are brilliant so far so good just done a load of fire doors with no problems as yet . I had to buy the anti slip feet from Axminster tools so that was another 14 quid on top of what should be supplied as standard . If you use them heavily I would go for ox door clamps if you can get them .

What is the max width they can hold fitting 50 mm doors can they hold them better than the trend door clamp thx

Width that the magic grippers can grip is 15 to 55mm.

Can you get replacement springs for these I've 2 both have broken springs would like to fix them before I have to dump them. Thanks

Perhaps type spare parts for this item in Google , that all I can advise I afraid .

I don't have them in front of me but, off the top of my head, they're a little under a metre wide once assembled. You can disassemble them and repack in the box once you've finished with them, if you wish.
