There is one soft, one medium, and one hard charcoal pencil, one woodless charcoal pencil, two medium, one hard, and one soft charcoal block, and one pack of charcoal sticks. It's messy and takes some kind of baby fingers super artist to even use these brittle sticks of wood burnings. They are not for every kind of artist not even myself. That being said the quality and versatility of this purchases is a great start kit for any aspiring artist because they have the pencils and the blunt sticks all vital towards sketch a work of art.
