I bought this rosary for a girl's first communion. Mother of pearl, its appearance is beautiful and the beads slip through the fingers very easily. Being mother of pearl it has a luminescent quality. Very reasonably priced.

So comforting, bough in a difficult time as my Irish Catholic origins seemed to be yearning for such a timeless way of saying prayers, really helped and I made up my own prayers as the beads went through my fingers as I do not know the traditional ones , I have seen Buddhists as well as Catholics doing this so I just did it..
