The first time I used it the frother did come off in my hand, but that was because I used a twisting motion when wiping it down and that is how you remove it to clean it properly! It took me a short while getting it back on because I hadn't taken note of its orientation before it came off. I was on a budget when I bought this and it saved me a lot of money as I stop buying coffees outside and also I paid a reasonable amount for a coffee machine that has its own tank rather than needing pressure and other connections. I make a lot of coffees everyday and I’m very pleased with it! It is a bit loud but its fast so that is no bother to me. You register the product with the delonghi but then when you have a problem, no one get back to you. this is not like the other delonghi machines. I would not recommend it. This is a bees knees of a espresso machine costing nearly 1,000 pounds. The Delonghi Dedica makes a variety of nice brews, but no where near the quality of my Lelit. What i have found if you invest in a decent quality tamper, and an half decent coffee grinder it makes a huge difference to the brew. Is the speed of it that I love! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good machine but poor, incomplete manual *by C***S on 9 May 2026* I've replaced an older Delonghi coffee machine which I've had for 6 years with this one. It is nice and compact and makes good coffee, but the manual relies almost totally on icons and images which are difficult to understand and is incomplete. The machine is programmable, to set water temperature, cup size, water hardness and auto-switch off, but this is only described in the videos on their support page (use the QR code) which I'd strongly recommend viewing or you'll probably be disappointed. That said, the videos contain an error, two of the settings seem to be controlled by the same button. Once you figure it out though, it is a decent machine.
